Staff was very friendly and warm - came here after overtiming at work. Was sure I was going to come too late for food (was already a bit after 9.30pm), but the staff here still whipped up a good meal even though its very near closing time. Food was hot and filled me up!
Good portion, salad tasted good as usual. Ordered the broccoli, bulgogi beef seasoned nicely, with kimchi and radish.
No truffle oil or sour cream condiments packed together with my take away. No wonder it tasted nothing special for the amounr paid. Tried calling Soup Spoon at Novena and email Soup spoon but no acknowledgement or reply. Hope they will get back to me ):
My hubby and friends wanted to eat fast food but I didn't, so I came here for dinner alone this evening. Unlike many other places, this store is not crowded and there are ample seats available, so it was a good place to chill away from the crowd. I had the half and half set ($9.20) with 2 soups -
The Hearty Vegan Gumbo is probably my favourite soup here! It’s hearty and satisfying as its name suggests. Love the rich spices and generous portions of ingredients. My Boston clam chowder was so watered down and had the tomato salsa completely mixed & dissolved in - they must have mixed in the tomato salsa beforehand instead of adding as a topping later. My partner's tomato soup also tasted off and was quite watery as well
