Food was acceptable at the cost it was served. A bit messy but a small portion is good for two. Don’t expect any exceptional taste or service but at a food court with a view of East cost what more would you want.

Not that huge but a good size and really nice hawker with good variety of food choices. You get the typical fried away tiauw, chicken rice, rojak, drink stalls, but also a rich selection of halal food choices, eg: ayam penyet, satay, lontong, soto mie, mie rebus, as well as dry snacks and kueh. Reasonable prices.
Shaik Buhari
Great hawker centre in Bedok area, opposite Cold Storage. A wide variety of local food, mostly halal and reasonable priced eg satay, char kuay teow, mee goreng, mutton soup, nasi mandi, nasi padang, nasi ambeng, goreng pisang etc.
There is facilities as well - toilet, adequate wash basin. There is both open air dining area and a bigger sheltered place.
It gets busy on weekends and after 5pm, with long queues at the popular stall like satay and nasi padang. There is an open URA parking besides it. If full, can try the parking across the road at Cold Storage.

Great place for halal food. 90% of the stall here serves halal hawkers fare. Green sky crispy oyster omelette is a must try item.
Abdul Halim Yeo
One of the popular hawker centre tucked away in Bedok. Well known by the local as Bedok Corner Food Centre. You can find varieties of halal food stall here! There is a direct bus service from Tanah Merah MRT station. Google Map gives an accurate direction to this location where if you want to travel by public transportation.
I recommend the Mala Wok, Satay Malek, the famous Hokkien Noodle which got its halal certification and Nur Indah Ayam Penyet! Whatever your palate desires, you can find them here and majority of the stalls here are old timers.
You need to be patient to get your seats if you want to lunch there or on weekends.

Most are halal or Moslem owned. There are 3 stalls selling satay and another 3 selling ayam penyet. Some are halal Chinese food

Decent place to dine out. Local malay delights and some add with a twist of lemon. Just chilling with my regular drinks and dessert. Majority stores are halal even though its Chinese menu created like carrot cake and char kway teow. Could be crowded during meal times and limited seats due to SMM. Outdoor parking next to FC but limited lots. A place to drop by for you local malay fix with affordable price tag.
