Review Working Title - Singapore

Randy Ngatimin
The classic burger is good, nicely toasted buns with moderately juicy patty. The fries is the stand out here. Superbly fried with very potatoey insides. Highly recommended, it’s one of a kind. Milkshake is nice too.

We had a great experience at (working title) | Burger Bar; from the shop ambience to the service and the food, it was fantastic. Really courteous and patient service. The burgers, as expected were fantastic! I have not had burgers for some time, so I had high expectations and I was not disappointed. We were all really surprised with the fries; really crispy and tasty. We had the baconator and the Oklahoma twister . I really like it where you are able to customise your burgers; I of course added a sunny side up eggs ☺️

Just yummy! The restaurant is small so good to make a reservation. Menu not super extensive but burger is good. We only ordered one burger to share Will try others next time!

Great experience at Working Title. Zac was awesome and patient in explaining to us if the establishment was serving halal food or not. He was honest and forthcoming with the questions pose. Along with the awesome burgers, made it a great experience!

A good halal place for a burger. Love the variety of burgers in their menu with various selections of meat. The taste of burger was a bit short from being tasty, the patty seem to be from a frozen patty and lack in taste but the bacon and the cheese made up for it. Price is reasonable. Will come again to try the other options.

1) Environment: Cozy. Nice songs played on the background. Retro deco. Relaxing. Simple table setting. Clean. This place provides quality tissue serviette, hence, no worries if you don't bring any with you. 2) Waitress: Attentive. Good service. 3) Price: Quite pricey. SGD57.09 for 2 people. We ordered 3 items only. But understandable due to the location. 4) Drinks: We ordered the Chocolate Milkshake. However, its texture is like ice-blended. Can feel the small ice texture when drinking it. Can't really taste the strong milky chocolate like how a milkshake should be. We also requested cold water and they served it for free. Nice. 5) Food: We ordered Baconator and El Spicy Sombrero. It comes with fries. We loved the fries coz it was not salted and not oily at all. The texture is not that crunchy but also not "wilted", just nice. Size of fries is not too thick and not too thin, also just nice. El Spicy Sombrero is not spicy at all. Not even to my husband who doesn't really eat spicy foods. The guacamole taste is overpowering the spicy taste, I guess. The beef is medium-rare and really tender. Love it. I must say after eating this set, I didn't feel bloated at all, hence I can say that the serving size is just nice. Baconator is quite sweet to the taste. I think, it is more flavourful than the El Spicy Sombrero. But I can comment that they really use quality items to make the food. It is apparent from the photo and tastewise. Hence, the price is justifiable. I will recommend this place for its coziness, nice serving size and quality raw materials that they use. This establishment can improve on their milkshake.

The classic burger did not look the on the pics, but it tastes delicious. The hash potatotes were excellent. My kid loves the shake. So the food is top end... But the interior is not my style.

Chanced upon this burger place. Nice ambience and staff. Nori fries taste great! It is crispy and not oily. Ordered baconator. The patty is nice, could have more cheese. Bacon is a little tough, that's why it's baconator right? Exterminate the consumer. Recommend this place. The patty is great, skip the bacon.

My friends and I decided to pop by after hearing good reviews through word of mouth. However, our visit was disappointing. It was around 2pm and although there is a few other customers, it wasn’t busy. We waited for a while to be seated(as per written on the signage) but was ignored by the staffs although there was about 3-4 empty tables. Our presence was only acknowledge when the staff was clearing a table nearby the entrance. She then pointed to the table right at the entrance and walked away. We settled down and had to wait more as no staff even bothered to pass us a menu. We had to take the menu from the entrance ourselves, which we were fine with as we thought maybe it’s a self service cafe. Around fifteen minutes later, a customer came in and to our surprise, he was served well with the menu being passed to him even before he settled down. The staff even served him with a bottle of water and cup without being asked. Afterwards, we even had to ask for a cup of ice twice as the staff claimed that she forgot about our request. The staff wasn’t rude or anything but I think they should have initiative or at least they shouldn’t be choosy in serving customers. As for the food, i ordered the burger Dengerous which was fairly average although the patty is a tad salty. Overall, the food did not make up for the unpleasant service, hence I would not patronise the cafe anymore/ recommend it.

Place was alright. Me and my buds just find the size of the burger to be too small. The portion of fries that come with the burger was good but serving portion was small too. Just my opinion guys, but its either the serving portion is the norm standard or im just a hungry dude bcoz we went straight to kampong glam cafe after out trip to your burger bar.

It was a disappointing experience at the Working Title. Firstly, I felt that the ventilation was poor. Secondly, food-wise, it was dissatisfying. My friend and I ordered the Tower of Power burger and the Big Breakfast. The tatter tots and burger buns were okay, but the beef patty was hard. The sausage had an odd taste as well. As for the fries, it was slightly soggy and had a salty taste, so I gave my feedback to the staff. However, the staff just replied that this is their usual way of cooking the fries. The matcha latte was too milky. Lastly, I don't think it's value for money since it costs about $22 for a main course which we ordered. To sum it up, I wouldn't return again nor recommend others to try out the cafe.

So Aie and his Mrs spent quality time together to celebrate their 'youthfulness' during the Youth Day school holiday by checking out the hipster establishments around Arab Street. Settled on late lunch at location where Aie ordered the double wallop burger. The service was fast but slow. Fast when taking orders but rather slow when serving the food. The burger tasted decent and the portobello fried mushrooms were crunchy though a tad oily. Tasted OK when eaten with the mayonnaise dip. Overall, an OK dining experience. The burger bar's courtyard dining setting reminds Aie of the 'Ponthuk Boyan' that he often visited as a child. An OK to try food establishment if one is blessed with patience cos the serving time is a tad slow...

I'm really sorry about this review but we were quite disappointed with the food . The satay fries were ok and the tatter tots were fine. (I love tatter tots and would choose them as my last meal if I was going to be executed for killing a man ). Other than that , everything was like an army battalion just finishing their 16 km route march ; salty . I ordered the 24 bucks burger ( some tower thingy ) and the patties were like the Dead Sea . Salty . The fries were on the side tasted like they were the offsprings of the two patties . Salty . Out of 5 of us , only one finished the burger because he doesn't like to waste food . I tried to give him mine whilst he was in his " I do not want to waste food" persona but even he could not get past the saltiness. Our friendship was never the same after that . I really hope you guys can improve on the salt level . The only good thing that came out of that was that I was having a sore throat and the salt kinda helped in a way . ( plus 1 star from an original 1 star review )

Waited 1hr for our food to come. Pricey for a decent looking burger. Wouldnt recommend this to anyone and definitely not coming back. Poor service too.

We passed by this place while seeking a place for dessert. Enticed by the lemon meringue tart, we ventured in. Chai was v sweet w anise too strong. Choc tart was better than lemon meringue

The portion was really small with the amount that we paid. However, the burger was nice. I did tried Meat & Mushroom burger.

I was here on a Sunday 13may It was not busy when we arrived there we're only 2 tables with customers. We ordered our food at 1238 and up till 1316 that is when I decide to write this reviews our food have not arrived yet. Upon paying the girl said that we have to wait 15mins for our food which to me was reasonable. But it's been almost 45mins and our food is not serve. This is ridiculous .your restaurant have only. One cook and one server if you think that you are not able to serve your customers promptly than you should have stated it before your customers pay for their food. This is utterly disappointing and it will most definitely be my last time stepping into this restaurant.

Had a group booking which we have called multiple times before we made the booking. Went down and staff denied the arrangement that was agreed to us. We tried to explained but the staff refused to listen to our explaination.

Really good food. Had an early dinner so the place was empty. Could do with a bit more light in the place though. But overall we enjoyed our time there!

WHAT A GREAT PLACE! This place is really great for both a casual drop in for their nice selection of cool drinks and good coffee or to spend some time chilling over their extensive range of food. I was truly impressed. It's really great to see a contemporary food joint which sells halal. This is not a big concern to me but my cousin who is Muslim particularly enjoys it here. The friendly staff and the chill music adds to the ambience when you want to chill from the outside heat. Try the burgers- they are amazing!!

Arrived at the cafe at about 8pm on Friday and we were greeted by a friendly waiter. Ordered our food at the cashier at 8.15pm. Cashier was really friendly and jovial. That was it and everything went downhill from there. My burger came first about 20 mins later. My wife's burger came 35mins later after mine. So she waited for almost an hour before her food came. I had already finished mine by then and I actually ate it slowly so I could eat together with my wife. Of course it turned cold as I took so long to eat it and it wasn't actually hot. Enquired why hers took so long and was given a reply that there was a mix up. When her order came, we asked again why it took so long. An apology was given, free dessert was offered. But we rejected the free dessert as whole dinner experience was already ruined. It was like "oh well, I already offered you free dessert but you dont want it. Too bad.". Her food was cold when it was served. I wanted to return the order but we didn't want to waste the food and my wife was very, very hungry. Returning the food would mean another "who knows how long" wait. Others who came later got their meals much faster. Service was actually friendly but no experience in service recovery, apology was not sincere. Food was bad and it took so long to arrive. I understand it takes time to cook but it was way too long. 20 mins for mine and then another 35 mins for the next. We took turns to watch each other eat. We left the cafe and passed by Zam Zam, wishing we had ate there instead. It would have been a better dinner. The best thing that night? My parking coupons way exceeded the time limit and I did not get fined. First and last. Never again.

Over priced burger.. $20 for fried chicken burger which was not that great. The chicken patties fries and tater tot tasted like they were refried multiple times. Lemon soda was 7 bucks! Really disappointing food. Would be good to have food options that are not fried ..

I made a reservation for two and input additional notes to reserve a table with a space to put my pram as my son couldnt sit yet. When i arrived, there isnt any reserved table for us and we have to sit near the door at the back. I have to keep moving my stroller for passerbys. When we arrived 6pm, lots of their items already not available. My husband wanted to leave but i told him to try whatever there is left since its our first time. I made the wrong decision. Drinks and dessert came 20 mins later, appetizer of fried hashbrown came 40 mins later and main course came 50 mins later. The staffs didn't have the decency to inform us prior to ordering that we will have to wait for our food. Neither do they update us now and then how long more we will need to wait. I have to keep asking them where are my drinks, my dessert and my food. After 50mins of waiting, the food doesn't worth the wait. Terrible. First and last. Will not recommend to my friends.

To the new team of working title, Awesome food and great service! Really enjoyed my lunch there earlier. Was a little skeptical to dine here at first due to the mixed reviews but definitely didn't regret it after leaving. The buns are nicely toasted giving in a perfect texture and crunch to it. The burger patties were cooked to a perfect medium well with a pinkish centre. Maybe the fries was a little tad too crispy but it was delicious nonetheless. Definitely a fierce competitor in the burger industry together with the likes of burgs and fat papas. And to add on, the staff were one of the friendliest. Keep up the good work guys. Will definitely come back again soon!

Very poor service, mains came out 30 minutes apart and it wasn't busy. My dish was also missing some of the items that it said it included.
