Good for tasty Indian food at reasonable price. Many vegetarian options. Sadly, vada and idly were out when I came.

A clear difference between "party" Indian food and "authentic" Indian food. One makes you feel bloated and uneasy while the other, makes you feel warm. The Indian food at Arunachala Bhavan, is exactly that, authentic Indian food. The most memorable dishes would have to be the Butter Chicken, Garlic Naan and Mutton Briyani. Not only is the food delightful but so is the customer service! If you are looking for true authentic Indian food, this is a must-try. The servings might be a little smaller than other places, however once you taste it, you'll understand why. Would definitely return to eat the food :))

One of the best Chennai southern Indian restaurant in terms of taste, aroma & friendly service! Have tried all all Chennai food in little India & most roadside mama stall, copi tiams but none can compare with A. Bhavan. This place puts historical names like Zam zam, victory & Islamic into 2nd place! Best dishes are prawn biryani, Mysore mutton, chicken & mutton marsala, prawn marsala, siting marsala, fish curry & many more! With proper sprucing up the place, this place wld attract more crowds! Price however, a bit stiff for Chennai food!

Decent and tasty food. Customer service is good but there is an awkward silence when we first enter and I saw the same thing happening to all the customers who entered while we are there.

Very tasty and grand veg thali options! Consisting of kesari dessert made with broken rice in milk, beetroot fry , dal , rice, sambhar ,rasam , curd and traditional curry etc. All were flavourful !
