Loved it so much at Esplanade , ate the best best best Chendol better just like gandma's Chendol during the 70's when she made everything by hand. N get to eat it again in here OSD today at 7pm on 06.07.18. awesome and Mee Siam to die for . Thank you Old School Delights. And lovely beautiful staff , one was rushing to City Square branch when she was serving us.

The yummiest Kueh Pie Tee, the fluffiest Pandan chiffon cake the most authentic Chendol - although a bit more coconut milk would do. All 👍🏻! Cheerio!

Mee Siam is the best food I had in SG over the past 3 days trip here. Thumbs up!!!!

Enjoyed the quality of the food! Family had Nasi Briyani, curry chicken, chendol and kueh pie tee. All good - I especially liked the crispy fried chicken with the briyani!

Love the mee siam and nasi lemak. Kids love the Hainanese chicken cutlet fried rice. Desserts - Chendol, Bandung Dinosaur, and Chocolate lava Banana cake really good. Wife said she had before the Mee Rebus very nice too... Must come back and try more and everything.

I love the ambience n the little wooden box on every table, filled with nostalgic little toys. The food was mouth watering and service was superb!! Thank you Cindy for your warm hospitality :) Will definitely bring more friends here.

Dear oldschooldelights, I went to your cafe the other day and had the best chocolate banana fudge cake EVER the chocolate fudge was too damn good, I love it!! So I made a polymer clay charm of the OSD chocolate banana cake for my favourite bracelet to remind me of OSD's cake LOL!

Interesting old school cafe inside esplanade serving Singaporean dishes and with an interesting deco. Taste is good and unique. Food takes a while to be served but it’s worth to wait as the food is made upon order and served hot and fresh. Delicious and value for money.

Ordered $12.50 set lunch - Nasi Lemak with sambal prawns and Big drumstick, drinks and dessert. I ordered Lemon Grass drink. Damn worth it especially in mall like The Esplanade. Air Conditioned environment with waiters serving you. Extra order - TauHu Goreng was very nice, fresh! Soft on the inside and tasty fried skin. The satay sauce along was tasty too. I had second serving after the first.

Not so cheap but expected price range for the location. Food was well cooked in the very limited menu. Assam salmon was just poached gently in the tamarind gravy and laksa was mild but had an authenticity from the good chilli paste

Happy to be back at Old School Delights and tried the assam salmon rice set this time. I love the flavourful assam gravy which is made from scratch and hits the right spot - it goes perfectly with the rice and when you drink it on its own (thank you lady boss for the extra gravy, love it!). The salmon portion was really generous, its tender texture and freshness were great, and I like it a lot with the other ingredients like lady's finger, tomato, and eggplant that you usually find in fish head curry dishes. I had a chendol dessert and cold thick barley drink and enjoyed both very much too. It's amazing how the lady boss makes effort to chat with and remember customers (really pro, especially since I haven't been back in quite some time), and asks them what they think of the food too. Love the consistently good food quality and excellent service :)

Ordered the nasi lemak and laksa. Very solid nasi lemak, flavourful rice, runny egg, fried drumstick with hint of tumeric, awesome sambal prawns! Laksa on the lighter side but flavorful too. Will definitely return again 👍

Good Nasi lemak. Fried chicken is very good. Sambal is average. Asam curry salmon is a little above average, can be spicier and sour for my liking. Fish and chips is pretty good. Chendol is good but the gula melaka quality can be better.

Amazing food. The nasi lemak is a highlight. The vibe reminds the old days having lunch at the cantine of the school. Creative decor. Menu is limited and super nice. It is a must try restaurant in SG if you wanna go for local food. Prices are fair.

This restaurant seems always full. They know what they are doing! When I was seated the staff asked if I am catching a show here and checked if 30 minutes wait time is ok. Heard them checking with every coming customer too. (that's waiting time for 6:20 pm Saturday). Staff was really friendly and helpful. Food is simple and good.
