The food here is generally quite good. The rendang is soft and not too spicy. Sotong Belado was fresh and chewy, topped with delicious gravy. Our favourite would be the tahu telor which is a crispy tofu that is sweet and salty, giving your mouth a burst of flavour together with an interesting texture. Although the service is quite slow, staff were rather polite. Rice is free flow too!

Delicious and lovely food. Most of the dishes are very flavourful and cooked well. Will highly recommend the Assam fish, Toufu goreng and sotong. The goreng Ayam is a little too dry for our liking. Overall very pleasant experience and good customer service.

Authentic Indonesia cuisine. Soup buntut is really addictive, the meat is so tender and melted in the mouth. Rendang lembu is very good to go with rice. Dancing fish is so crispy that I can even chew the bones 🤪 Staff are friendly and very efficient. Nice place to visit.

An impromptu visit to Paragon made us wander around the eating places. And Tambuah Mas actually caught our attention very quickly, as we had not dined here for a long time. As only wifey and I were eating, we ordered only the Gado Gado (first choice of Angie), Beef Rendang and the Sop Buntut with lontong. And a bowl of Nasi Kuning. Whenever we dine in an Indonesian Restaurant, wifey will always use her favorite in Jakarta to compare. The satisfactory looks of wifey showed that the standard of Gado Gado was very good, with compliments from beginning till end of lunch. The texture of Beef Rendang was superb - tender enough to melt in the mouth and importantly not that sweet. Although the Lontong Sop Buntut was good to me, it fell short of wifey’s standard. I would actually preferred the soup without the lontong. The Nasi Kuning was very fragrant and Angie took two spoonful instead of the usual one. We think the standard of meal in this outlet is comparable to the Tanglin Outlet which had been our favorite. Well, looks like we need to go to Paragon when Tanglin Mall is pulled down in the future. Howe, Waiter informed us that there’s another outlet in Great World City. Hmm…maybe parking is cheaper there.

Pictures don't do justice. The food was all so good! Chicken satay was superbly tender. The beef satay a little tough though. The sup ekor, the ekor meat was also tender and tasty. The fishhead meat was tantalisingly soft and tasty. Tahu telur was really nice, crispy and the sauce is inside not poured outside . Overall, all were well-cooked, well-marinated , and yummy. Customer service was awesome. Waiter are very friendly and tended to our whims and requests. (There were 7 adults and 4kids) so that's alot of requests. The restaurant was fullhouse but food came fast. Wow. A little pricey but if u want quality Halal food in town, this is a great place to go.

There's a reason why Tambuah Mas is such an iconic Indonesian restaurant in Singapore from its early beginning in Tanglin Shopping Centre and has survived and thrived while others (eg Sanur in Center point) have closed. For this visit, I had my favorite tauhu telur -- a must eat -- their versipn is so mouthwateringly delicious and crispy! And the petai in sambal -- just perfect! Plus the cendol with generous serving of gula melaka! I prefer the simple cendol with green pandas jelly although they offer cendol with red beans, etc/ The beef rendang is tender and flavourful. And kangkung is nicely balanced in flavours. And gado-gado - another favourite of mine. There is a good selection of vegetarian and vegan options. Highly recommended!
