First time trying African food. I was surprised they are very similar to some Asian dishes.

Had the goat curry and chicken curry, the portions were much bigger than they looked! Chicken curry was tastier. Goat curry was tender but the taste was ok only. Their rice was a bit dry. Their drinks are very nice and also very filling. I would come back to try their brunch menu next time.

Decided to try Africa cuisine because I'm so curious as I read some reviews that African cuisine tasted similarly to Indian cuisine. Kafe Utu did not disappoint me at all, it's so good! I had ordered Pulled Pork Breakfast ($26) and truly enjoyed all the wonderful comb
Read up about it’s African themed design and the Cafe doesn’t disappoint! From entrance all the way to their toilets, the design is all in theme and has the homely and chic African feel to it.
