i feel the standards have dropped since the last time i dined here, when i used to feel it was a 5 star experience. now, the sambal has no spice at all. and the beef rendang was quite tough. still enjoyed it, so i’m giving it a generous 4 stars.
One if the OG nasi padand places. Went there and had to wait a short queue. Ordered the beef rendang with rice. For the price, it was very good. The beef was soft and the sauce was very deep and flavourful. Very much a recommended place to try if you are in the Bugis area.
First time here. Nice cosy atmosphere. Delicious authentic Indonesian cuisine. Price is on the high side but worth it.

If you're indonesian looking for authentic indonesian padang food, here is the best place in sg. The flavours were good but the beef rendang could be more tender and the sotong could be fresher and firmer. The terong was ok but plain. The oxtail soup was not bad - both the soup and the meat.
Good padang food. Great quality and variety of choices. Teh tarik was nice too. Only a/c was too cold. Can consider outdoor seating next time.
Came here for lunch and was quite disappointed. The beef rendang I had taste and smell burned bitter. The omelette too salty , fish was ok. I need to talk to 3 staff to get replacement for the beef for a chicken instead. The price a bit on the high side. Sambal Chili $4 .
