The food quality is good but the price is on the high side in view of the set up of this restaurant . Bistro or cafe concept restaurant shall charge at the price lesser than restaurant. The Bbq lamb was good but I found too oily .. looks like lots of butter has put in it! I barely can’t finish 2 pice of the lamb chop but sharing the other 2 pieces with my kids and wife. The Angus beef not as tasty and quite normal. The kaya toast with Foie gras and scramble eggs kind of unique but is expense for just one piece @ $18! The salted egg fries was , Siu bak with spicy sauce is yummy as well as the fried calamari. The chili crab meat pasta was uniquely prepared and tasty. The drinks is expensive with a house pour wine at $14 .. we didn’t try the dessert as we are way too full. Service is great but only one waitress during the dinner time on Saturday.. kind of strange. However, good fusion food but expensive!

Having walked past this place multiple times on the weekends, it can appear very unassuming! However to my delight the food was amazing and definitely worth returning for! The staff are polite and offer good service. The chicken burger was extremely juicy and delicious and the carbonara was perfectly executed. Did not try the coffee or drinks but will be returning for some good food!

Cozy ambience and warm friendly service. Signature dishes that whet Singaporean taste buds being served with good quality fresh ingredients. Nice selection of desserts. Grilled salmon and grassfed ribeye are great, satay rice burget can be less charred though.

I ordered the Nasi Lemak burger which was good. Unfortunately one of the pieces was undercooked. The cooked piece was great. Its sambal was good and not too spicy.
I had bit into the second piece and found it chewy and saw that it wasn't cooked properly.
Staff was apologetic and of course waived off the charge. Then offered us their yummy waffle dessert. And surprised me with another serving of the nasi lemak burger. Unfortunately after the yummy dessert, I was full. They packed it up for me. Thanks.
I'll definitely be going back to try out their other dishes.

My parents and I really enjoyed our dinner here. The food is a fun take on fusion cuisine, and the durian creme brûlée that I had for dessert was amazing! We were served by the chef-owner when we arrived... super pleased with the food and friendly service, and will absolutely be back to try more of the items on the menu!

$16 salted egg chicken burger, chicken crispy and juicy, buns are normal, can't taste salted egg.
$16 lemak curry chicken burger tasted slightly better comparatively.
Unsure why the owner recommended another $14 of dual flavour shiok fries when the burgers already comes with fries, but the chilli crab flavour is not bad.
$14 for a 330ml German beer can skip.
$16 for a 500ml green goblin apple cider more worth it.

Amazing as ever! This was my second visit. I missed the FWAH and affagato with Pandan ice cream after the first visit. This time I tried a buah kelauk ice cream (100%) and it taste just like dark chocolate ice cream. It blows your mind!

Their off-the-menu item is simply the best, especially the crab beehoon. Just ask the chef! Price is reasonable too! Great stuff!

First time visiting this place. Order a Teriyaki Salmon Don ($12) and complete it with a salad and latte by adding $3. Was quite disappointed on the Don as the rice was not evenly cooked. Quite a portion of uncooked was served. Had feedback this to the staff during payment. Plus point of the dish was the teriyaki sauce on the salmon was not too salty. Service from the staff was ok.

Our family went there on a Saturday night for dinner. What attracted us was that it was not crowded, as the restaurant resides in the CBD area, so we could easily get a seat! The platter was definitely worth it where you get to try the various dishes and we added on some additional starters like the Fwah! as well as the Clams. Recommend to go for the meats cos their Salmon was a little dry. Wish there was slightly more dessert options as well but overall we throughly enjoyed the food and will come again!!

The best salted egg chicken burger in Singapore, die die must try:)

The only thing that saved it from 0 stars was the ok service from the staff. Food was dismal, Calamari was bland and almost tantamount to eating pieces of rubber, the crust will fall apart like flakes. The burger is dry, comparable to the Sahara and the fries came with a meagre amount of sauce, already costing $14, additional sauce will set you back $3, yikes! Never coming back here again, thankfully for the other options around the area!

Our family loves the food. Even mummy who is a choosy eater at restaurant due to the freshness of ingredients used is a fan. Got to try calamari, salted egg burger, satay burger, curry chicken rice, salted fish pasta, mao shan wang creme brule and waffle with 2 scoops of lemongrass and pandan ice cream (sorry, I forgot the actual name of the dishes)!

Pan-fried fish was swimming in oil. Fish & Chips was more like Batter & Chips. Satay burger was tiny, and the chilli crab pasta was mediocre at best, if you like sweet and sour pasta with a sprinkling of crab. The only thing that was OK was the Salted Egg Yolk fries, the dip was nice, a little bit weak but it was the best out of all the things we had. Can't believe we spent around $150 there.

Was here for desserts & drinks on 9 Aug. No complaints about the food but the poor service standard spoiled the experience. The girl at the counter displayed an extremely "black face" when we placed our orders, and just dumped our food on the table. She didn't even smile or respond wherever I thanked her for bringing us our food/drinks. Perhaps she was unhappy about having to work on a PH but such attitude in a front line staff is terrible. I won't be back.

The chef & boss is very creative, always try new recipe. His Western style local food is very refreshing! Dining hall is causal & conducive!

Awesome innovations. Delicious food! Try it. Personally, I like the Foie Gras, and the Durian Can Boleh. Brought my whole family to eat.

Tried the nasi lemak burger and the McCoy burger. Also topped up $4 for that chilli crab sauce. Not to mention the #duriancanboleh. TOO GOOD I'm coming back for more. This is my first visit and it's already one of my favourite eating place.

Great food, amazing attention to detail (freshness of ingredients and how diff tastes blend together) and immaculate service by Deming (the owner). Highly recommend their durian creme brûlée, affogato with pandan icecream and brownie with buah keluat icecream!

Service was attentive. Waiter refilled our water though we did not noticed it was self service.
Food was good. I had the crabmeat sauce linguine. Yummy. We order the burger & fries to share among 4. Heavy meal.

De Ming and The Quarters is the personification of Mod-Sin. Tonight we tried Vongole in chilli crab sauce, Umami Babi, Real McCoy burger with salted egg sauce, steak with a 'local take' on teriyaki sauce. Awesome. Will definitely come back.

We loved it here. Seth was amazing and made us feel totally welcome. The menu was extensive and the food was fantastic. We will be back. Thanks to the owner who took the time to come to our table and explain our dishes (so appreciated when you're an Aussie in Singapore). Highly recommended.
