Wanted to eat something Indian on my third day of being in Singapore. And went to try Anjappar. if you really want to try close to authentic South Indian food, this is the place to be
What i liked
Their mutton Biryani was really nice
Their non-veg thali with chettinad chicken was very good and value for money
Ambience was good
Fresh orange juice was also good
What I expected to be better
Staff was at times not courteous
Little bit more cleanliness of washrooms
They were emptying the left over food just close to where I was eating which could have been avoided
I have been a diner here for last 10 years. Te food portion an qualoy is good and consisten for so many years... The mutton fry, viral fish fry and tawa fry are all good. Try the fresh lime juce and falooda... it is sometimes crowded but service is efficient.
