Decided to check this place out because I love sunshine and greenery. It's a beautiful, minimalist place with good coffee, and a great place for conversation. My friend and I only realised that the cafe closes at 5pm when we left at 5.45pm - the owner did not wish to disturb us because we were deep in conversation. That was really kind, thank you! Will revisit sometime :)

Super limited menu but oh so delicious salmon toast! Very friendly service staff too. Be warned that the space is quite small so you might not find seats immediately.

Gorgeous cafe decked in calming wood and white furnishings, as well as fresh plants. The baristas are friendly and approachable, while the coffee is delicious. Can't wait to return!

Possibly the best filter coffee I’ve had in Singapore, comparable to the ones I had in Taiwan.

The Glasshouse is founded by a dear friend of mine of 8 years who worked in the design industry as a designer but found his passion in coffee. While working office hours as a Designer, he would pursue coffee as a side hustle during the weekends learning the ropes of a barista & eventually leaving the creative industry to pursue coffee full time. A couple of years went by and he went on to compete in the Singapore coffee festival in 2017 and got into the semi-finals and eventually opened a humble coffee place called The Glasshouse at Chijmes. The team's relentless passion is seen clear in the daily coffee brew with well thought out clean & minimalistic interiors accompanied with lush greenery. A good place for coffee over the weekends with your lovely significant other. Highly recommended!
