Everything was delicious specially the braised pork ribs 🫰🏻
Recommended if you like to eat pretty hot food, when she's served, you should eat it. But if not, please blow it up a bit because it is quite hot.
This place have very tasty hot milk tea
So, everything is delicious i would say😂
The restaurant has a table reservation service in advance. But if you don't have a reservation, you can come to walk-in as well. And Very tasty dim sum 🥟
This place maybe is a bit more pricey and less popular than the dim sum restaurants nearby but they have their uniqueness in their dishes. Both the buns and steam rice roll are well seasoned and tasty, with fresh shrimp inside the roll. The drinks are also nice. Will come back once in a while.
My god-daughter introduced us to this place. She loves their signatures of Baked Salted Egg Yolk Custard Buns ($6.80++) and Steamed Crispy Rice Rolls with Shrimp ($5.80++) the most, and I have to agree with her - those are terrific. The former has the thick savoury-sweet golden lava encased in a light and crumbly pastry while the latter offers a fun mouthfeel with the contrasting textures.
We went a bit overboard and ordered too much food for the four of us but hey, is anyone surprised? 😂 Ended up taking some home because we just couldn’t finish 😅
Overall, I liked the food. When I return, these would be what I’d reorder: Steamed Pork Ribs with Yam (it’s so smooshy soft), Century Egg and Lean Meat Congee, Mentaiko Har Gao, and Fresh Shrimp with Fried Carrot Cake in X.O. Sauce.
On another note, I found service to be good here - efficient but still warm.
My favourite dim sum place. All dim sum were fresh and delicious. Especially love the Cheong fun with crisps inside. Affordable prices, great dim sum.
Pricey but worth every penny! Authentic and delicious. I was surprised both the total bill and the food. Do note the prices shown are without GST and Service Charges. It’s a pity because most Dim Sum Islandwide don’t have such! Even if there was it’s upfront!
First time trying this place on a weekday lunch time. No crowd and was first group to be seated. Parking might be an issue during peak period. Ordered 10 dishes. Portion normal but good enough for family of 4. Total cost SGD 62.50. Not cheap considering there are many other worthy competitors nearby. Food is tasty. We are impressed with the baked crusted custard bun. Not sure if because we are the first group but we waited 20+ mins for the food to be served. The fried mee sua seem to be over fried, color is dark.
Great dim sum at affordable prices. The must gets include their siew mai, Chee Cheong fun as well as their baked salted egg custard bun. The salted egg was gooey and explodes in your mouth. But when you come, it’s okay to skip their cooked dishes and go to the dimsum straight as the fried rice and noodles were nothing to write home about. Overall, amazing experience and definitely will be back.
The dim sums are quite good not much to comment. Siew Mai you can skip if you are not interested. Price is reasonable and good thing is you can have dim sum even for dinner.
