The original restaurant, in operation since 1981. The building that they are in has been sold en bloc so they will not be around for long. Service is excellent and attentive, food is amazing. The sambal chilli is very spicy. They have 2 more outlets in Great world city and paragon. Listed in Michelin guide since it;s inception. Go and experience the Original ambience one last time.

IMO one of the most delicious and authentic restaurants in Singapore serving hearty Indonesian cuisine. Go for the Tahur Telur (personal favourite), Ayam Goreng Istimewa, Rendang Lembu and Sayur Lodeh. Rice is refillable too!

Nice food. Rice is by headcount. You can choose plain white rice or yellow rice. Tahu telor is the one you can never miss. Cendol still not so bad, not too sweet.

One of the best Indo restaurants in the island. The tofu dish is amazing. Update: still great. Chicken's ok and ice kacang's good.

Overall good, tried the Tahu goreng instead of the Tahu Telor, equally good. The star of today is gado gado.

Great flavours. The gado gado was good, especially the sauce but there was too much lettuce. The sate ayam, ayam goreng istimewa, and beef rendang were good. The tahu telur was great, especially the sauce. The oxtail soup was unremarkable and didn’t have much meat in it. From an earlier visit: The tahu telur was a large portion and had a warm, sweet sauce which complemented the savoury egg and beancurd. The sauce for the rendang lembu was great though the portion of beef was small. The ikan pepes tasted like there was more fish meat in it than the typical otah. The gado gado was not bad though it would be better if they’d used more cabbage and less iceberg lettuce. The flavour of the ayam goreng istimewa was great though the pieces of chicken were smaller than typical.
