Wahiro - Singapore - Photo album

Food is ALWAYS GOOD and the staffs are friendly and helpful. It might look like a hole-in-the-wall kind of place but this is truly one of the most authentic places for Japanese izakaya food. Highly recommended 👍
It had been hard to make a reservation here if you are targeting the usual 6-8pm dining time slot so book early if you can. The somen and the skewers are delicious. Somen was an off menu item where the staff recommended that we can add the noodles to the asari clams soup and it blow us off. Skewers
Dinner at Wahiro @Roxy Sq. 1st time. Tried their 8-course Wahiro set. Thick fresh sashimi. Interesting dishes. Filling at end of course. Literally a hidden gem restaurant- store front is not obvious from main thoroughfare. Small restaurant so reservation is recommended unless dining before 7pm. Afte
Very authentic Japanese cuisine. Ordered set that comes with sashimi, sushi, fried fish, fish roe, (a little salty) soup (a bit bland), rice, bbq chicken $38 for the set. Overall good value for money. There are guest who seems to be regular Japanese. Enjoyable inexpensive lunch. Will come back soon
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Serving Authentic Japanese Cuisine in Singapore since 2000. 1st time here and thumbs up to Susan (Wahiro staff) for the great recommendations. ⭐⭐⭐ Update on 8/10/2021: edited from 5 stars to 3 stars coz I received my credit card statement that there's a duplicate charge for this bill.. was bi
Very good japanese food. Been around a long while. Recommended by friend who is a regular customer. Very homely kind of restaurant.
Affordable authentic Japanese cuisine! The ambience feels homely with a mixture of Japanese and Singapore culture. You can hear local dialects used to communicate between staff and customers, an indication of familiarity between them! Highly recommended!
Frankly speaking.. One of the WORST Omakase I had. $148++pp with such standard. I wouldn't go back at all. Food was either too bland, too salty, too rubbery or overcooked. Only Sashimi was safe. We ordered some yakitori just to try. Not worth eating either. One word. Overrated. Not worth paying for
