Excellent Tonkatsu served up by Ma Maison! Loved how crispy and skillfully-fried each piece of Tonkatsu is; it’s hard to describe but every bite is so surprisingly light on the palette despite it being fried pork. Fried oysters were also amazing— fresh, tender on the inside and crispy on the outside. Free flow of soup, shredded cabbage and rice made it so value for money, and left us feeling all full and satisfied. Overall an excellent experience.

One of my favourite place to go when I’m craving for Tonkatsu! This restaurant is conveniently located at town even though this outlet has been here for a really long time, their food standards never once dropped. 👍👍👍 There is also free flow rice, cabbage and soup for each set so your belly would most definitely be full! Also, they are running this beer promotion at $5.80++ all day! #soworthit

The restaurant is known for its free refills of the cabbage, rice and soup. The service was very good. We ordered a range of tonkatsu and fish. The food was excellent.

Our favorite tonkatsu place in Singapore. For me, the gold standard is とんかつまい泉青山本店 in Tokyo. Is it that level? No, but it’s pretty good and better than any number of more expensive places in Singapore. They have a nice variety of offerings, combo sets, and frequent specials. Personally, I like to stick to their standard fare. The breading is crispy and doesn’t easily fall off. The meat is good and doesn’t taste greasy or overly chewy. There is a variety of sauces available, as well as a choice of rice. Prices are reasonable and service is friendly and good. Recommended.

It's not just Tonkatsu, absolutely delicious! Tender meat, good portion and side dishes. Ordered Negi Miso Rosu Katsu set, Chicken Katsu Curry and Oyster and Rosu Katsu set. Salad, miso soup and rice are refillable. Price may seem steep for a tonkatsu but worth it. Will definitely eat here again.

Had the curry rice set and it was pretty good! Katsu was crispy and not oily, pork was juicy! 🥰 The shredded cabbage was refreshing and helped to cut down the jelak-ness of the main dish. Overall enjoyed the meal, but would prolly go to their Jewel outlet if I were to visit again next time, bc the queue at Mandarin Gallery was 1h+. 🥲

Recommended by friends, I tried and find this good. Thick juicy pork cutlets and comes with refreshing free flow cabbage salad. Loud crunch in every bite into these cutlets. I ordered the fried oysters set, 😋.

Got the Rosu Tonkatsu set and honestly, it was one of the better ones I’ve had! The meat is on the tender and juicy side, and I loved the fatty bits because they were nicely rendered. The breading layer is also executed perfectly being light and crisp, without separating from the meat while eating. Soup was filled with ingredients inside, and the shredded cabbage was fresh and crisp. Overall, an excellent place to get quality Tonkatsu! Will be back to try the other foods
