Service wasn't too bad, the main guy that served us first was really friendly and nice.
On to the food, it was only alright and definitely a little underwhelming for the price and the reviews.
For starters, we had the fried chicken, army stew and ceviche but nothing really spectacular. For the mains, we had the char siew and the pork ribs rice. Pork ribs rice was good but maybe i was expecting too much.
Nonetheless i think the ambience was pretty nice and chill and definitely a good spot to catch a drink or two. But that's all i would do.

I absolutely loved the decor, and service was excellent, but the food was a solid BLAH/10 for me. Everything was only okay and at that price point, I definitely expected a little more than what we got.
Our table ordered the char siu (overcooked, blah seasoning), eggplant (had potential with that sauce, but was way undercooked), the hangover stew (pretty decent, but forgettable), and fried chicken (really good, but it's also fried chicken... So...yeah).
Anyway I'm not saying that Izy Fook serves bad food. It's just so mediocre that I had to write this review in case I accidentally revisit this place.

Their service is top-notch, my friend spilled his soup and they were so quick to help replace the cutlery and all. Food was served promptly, just that fusion food is either a hit or miss. I regret to say I’ve tasted better flavours and seen better textures elsewhere.
The most impressionable dish would be the Sakura pork ribs. The ribs are tender, tasty and they easily fall off the bone. However, the rice seasoning wasn’t to my liking.

Food is pretty good and the menu has a decent selection - though on the higher side. We had the Wagyu don as recommended. It was good, but we expected more due to the rave reviews and the price. The prawn ramen was a nice surprise, broth very robust and flavourful. Our favourite was the chicken karaage - it was excellent. Happy Hour is til 7pm.
Service was ok, seemed to only have one guy taking the orders. A small gripe was that upon making the reservation, they assured us that we could use Burpple Beyond but when we got there they had forgotten the date and realised it was a PH eve and therefore we couldn’t. Was disappointed because we wouldn’t have come here otherwise and would’ve done a different day when we could use our deals.
Otherwise, it was overall pretty good.

Quite pricey and menu is a little strange and left field. There does not seem to be a consistent theme. Had the kimchi soup, ceviche (Thai style) and the much lauded char siew. The ceviche was the best dish for me and I thought it was excellent. The balance was just right between the tangy salad and the freshness of the monkfish/cod.
The other two dishes were so-so. The char siew, though much hyped, did not have anything else going for it other than being tender (easy to achieve through sous vide). It was lacking in the smokiness and char front.
Service was slow as I could only count one service staff minding the whole restaraunt. Took a while to get seated, order and clear the plates.

Prawn Mee Pok ($16). Izyfook has replaced Izy Dining and Bar at the same location, now serving up our favourite local dishes in a chic and funky ambience. Expect to see celebrities hanging out here.
Besides char siew and roast pork from Roast Paradise, there's also this mee pok in a tasty wet sauce full of prawn and pork taste. There's also sakura ebi for umami and texture, and hard boiled egg. I can only imagine this would be more perfect if they had used more premium prawns, but it's already an addictive bowl of mee pok which I ordered a second serving just for myself (since the first bowl had to be shared between three of us!).

The prawn noodles and iberico red curry really good! But the price was on the high side! Portion is not very big. We used burpple one for one! :)

The food was quite expensive but we used the burpple beyond 1-for-1 deal to get the tiger prawn ramen and grilled chicken. It costs $33 in total. The food and service is great, the waiter kept refilling our water. The seating area is at the back of the restaurant and feels very different from the front of the store, felt like we were walking into Narnia. I'll probably come back some time to try their pork dishes.

DELIVERING STYLISH EXCELLENCE
This Japanese casual restaurant has endless charm and it is by far my favourite place in Singapore. It's small, smart and sophisticated in its simplicity. The food is star quality and the staff way beyond nice.
Cannot wait to be back to this place for its tiger prawns, the TFS chirashi and matcha cheesecake and I am planning to visit its sister restaurant OKU Japanese Tapas Bar as I hear it is the hottest new Japanese restaurant in town.

Very delicious food, it's freshly made so every dish takes some time but it was definitely worth it!

Hadn't been in Singapore for a while and this place turned out to be a great ew discovery. Service is outstanding with the owner being genuinely interested in your opinion and OMG the sushi is good! Can't wait for my next visit to Singapore!!

Terrible experience. The manager is rude and the waitress cannot even get our order right. The food is either too bland or hyper salty.
Arrogant manager didn't want to admit that they got the order wrong and insist that we didn't order.
This is the first and last time going to be here.

The food freshness is better than any franchise Jap eateries.
Still consider pricey for the nothing out of the extraordinary menu.
Cosy, good to visit during a weekend.
Service wise nothing to shout about.

Thank you for having us to enjoy a great lunch today and complementary slice of cake which was a sweet surprise for my colleague birthday, will definitely return again. Nice coffee and the green tea red bean cake not too sweet!

Cancelled my Christmas Day reservation, made 2 weeks ago, on Christmas Eve. Horrible and inconsiderate.

Love the back alley take and the cosy setting. And the food is GREAT - fresh sushi, sashimi and the modern take to Japanese dishes - fabulous. The only missing element is the warmth of the staff. Rather cold, mechanical, and does not seem to go an inch further to make sure guests are attended to. When our bill was finally settled, the staff said "thank you please come again..." and there he was, not lookg at us but at the glass he was filling (i did thk he was referring to us). No. Don't. 错。

They fuck up Valentine's Day and make you pay for it. After going to the place for 2 years, I'll never set foot in that shit hole again.

We love the cosy ambience and the very warm people! The sashimi and sushi bento were delicious and very well presented. Thank you for the surprise birthday cake for my dear friend!

The opening hours as stated on your door is 11am. You couldn't even serve a coffee to my friend because your barrister hadn't come yet. It is very puzzling to be told that the chef and barista comes in at 11.30am and the reason why you "open" at 11am is so that you can "prepare". Shouldn't the preparation have started at 10.30am so that you're ready for customers at 11am as stated? If you intend to be ready for customers later then please change your signage to 11.30am.
