The food was pretty good, I recommend their Sandwich. Their banana pancakes were a bit heavy for my taste. I recommend you share them between two people. Their coffee is pretty smoky and fragrant, 100% recommend it.
Overall the customer service was alright, it's well lit and clean. I wouldn't recommend this place for a date though, it's quite noisy sometimes.

Monday breakfast... Quite a crowd of happy diners.
Ordered The Hulk and Egg&Toast. Piccolo with oat milk. The Hulk is a must try, well toasted sourdough, tops with avocado mix with a taste of character. Don't think we taste it elsewhere. Really special and well done.
Scrambled eggs ... Looks normal but not normal. Perfect scrambled eggs, moist, balanced taste, and it goes well with toast . Just a little suggestion... Maybe the toast to toast a little more. Too 'pale' for me.
We will certainly come for more!

Small place but cozy, not really suited for big groups.
great place for family with younger kids, nice $12 kids meals with 4 options. It comes with a main and juice/ milk.
Their coffee is spot on and should fit most people’s taste and the food are of a reasonable standard.
Pricing is cafe pricing and not really cheap in that sense.

Hidden near a forest at one north.
A cosy cafe ran by "monkeys"
Coffee is great.
Food sizing is just nice.
Taste is yummy.
Price is worth it. If we could only pay with 🍌bananas🍌
Will return again.

Vibrant café with great coffee (extra points for the Slayer coffee machine) and good food. The shakshuka was delicious and there are some hearty kid's options at a reasonable $12 price point too.
Seating is a little cramped but they've done a good job given the limited space available.

Service - 1 star - Came in at 3pm on a weekend, the cafe closes at 4pm. I was greeted with a big sigh by the barista and told I might as well sit anywhere who also told me that they close in 45 minutes.
Ordered breakfast sandwich and long black with oat milk, told again at the counter by the cashier and chefs that the kitchen closes in 30 minutes and the cafe in 45 mins. As soon as I took the last bite of the sandwich (literally I was still chewing) a separate female waitress came to inform me that the cafe will be closing at 3:45pm. This is a small space and almost every member of staff basically asked me to leave without saying so. My recommendation: change your hours then? Close the cafe at 3pm if everyone wants to leave at 3? Don’t however be rude to first time customers and chase people out.
Ambience - 4 stars, the decor is nice.
Food - 3 stars - the sandwich filling was tasty, but the bread roll was stale and soggy at the bottom. Also you can buy and use oat milk that works for baristas and combines with coffee as their oat milk does not - see picture.
I wanted to return as I live nearby but due to the terrible service and poor welcome I’ll rather find another cafe.

This cool lil hippy cafe has left the best impressions. Great coffee, good people, good vibes.
The staff were awesome; friendly and welcoming. (Shout out to Jack clearly knows his stuff - coffee & product and he’s cute too!). Overall, well priced, cozy atmosphere. Perfect for a quiet weekend brunch or simply for a good cuppa coffee to fuel up during the week.
The white cold brew will never disappoint! A MUST Go!

Hands down best coffee in SG. Cozy cafe with friendly staff. Went down during brunch, nice & quiet ambience. Food was also delish.

Always liked the place since I moved to the area. Great coffee! The brunch bites are also tasty. I always go for the Hulk but my fiance enjoys the pastas too. Staff are very friendly and do great service.

Consistently awesome coffee. Very friendly staff. Love "The Hulk". Peaceful setting. Perfect place to fuel up before and after a class at Meraki Yoga, just across the courtyard.

I was beginning to like the place till today. January 12th 2018 I arrived a few minutes post 7 am hoping to do some work and enjoy a coffee. The staff (a short haired Asian girl) was so unwelcoming, no good morning etc even when I tried talking to her. Five minutes later two white men walked in and she was all chirpy and friendly. I guess jimmy Monkey isn’t interested in welcoming brown faces!! Not going back even though I loved ordering the “hulk” and loved the coffee.

One of our favorite cafes! If you want a cup of real good Aussie coffee, this is where to go. Also super baby friendly! The batista offered our baby a complementary babychino. He first ever cup. He was super excited and totally loved his drink! Thank you! :)

Super coffee with some fantastic staff members , ESP Z who works at their new branch ( opposite jimmy monkeys!) food however whilst cooked well , is shockingly over priced and you leave still hungry . Already emailed management about this but no reply, shame they don't take the time to address feedback from a regular customer . Have not eaten food since but still go for the coffees. That said, Am I the only one who thinks $2.50 for a babichino is expensive ? Free or $1 at most places. Still the coffee keeps me coming back .

Nutella speculoos shake was really good. Ordered a choco lava cake as well, that ice cream served with the cake had a strong meaty taste, which was quite disgusting! Didnt complain to the staff or anything, i believe there was a minor mistake somewhere during the preparation, i will give you one more chance by visiting you again for your nice drink.

All time favorite for my coffee fix. Great service each time I'm here!

Coffee latte is awesome
Foods ?? Over price, and hygiene is .... questionable
Staff took over a paper that I am interested to read without asking!! What a rude service staff.

Had an espresso and a hot chocolate for this rainy day. I must say it's one of the best espresso's I've had in a while. Can't forget the lovely ambience and touch of monkey mischief on the cups (:

I have been intensely cafe hopping recently. When I tasted Jimmy Monkey's flat white and then the latte, I knew that they were hands down by far the best espresso milk drinks among those that I've tried.
Intensely rich aroma, incredible body/mouth-feel, superb balance. Finish in the mouth lasts 10-20 seconds. Wow. I preferred the latte a bit more (which is odd, since I usually prefer flat whites).

Awesome specialty coffee! will be back for more as every time i'm close by keep it up. For those reading, try the cold brew!
