1st experience was in 2018 at the same location & have been dining there since then. Prices has escalated naturally but they did not shrink the portioning & quality. Service wise as per normal, serve & go kind. A good place for casual dining. Get 10% discount using CHOPE voucher.

Very friendly service crew. Food ordered come in sequence, meaning they noticed your eating speed. Quality of food is v.good, especially the duck, but not forget the bread and butter too. Quite packed during friday evening, thus a bit noisy if u expect french restaurant is quiet eating place :-) i will give better rating if they serve water with lemon...

😋: The salmon was very nice with a super crispy skin, the sauce and the vegetables below were a really good combination too. The onion soup was not bad but a bit salty. Also all the portions are very generous and we actually couldn't finish our food hahaha 😟: The duck confit was dry and the meat was a bit tough.

Seems like they have had a makeover - more gentrified, food quality seems to have improved, and prices have increased as well. Had the beef cheek stew and it was delicious. Serves complimentary bread too.

Boss treat. My first time here and the food was fantastic. Worth every calories. We ordered the lunch set each at 54++ per pax but some mains and appetiser have to top up extra. I choose the steak not sure why I ordered medium well I shld order medium rare instead but nevertheless the steak is still soft to cut and the fats just melts in your mouth. The chef cook the steak true to how well you order... and it came with potatoes gratin... I thought i can't finish it but I can't put down my spoon.. dessert was creme brulee and was super good too... their servings portion is big and worth it... love their bread n butter too... yum... service was good...food was serve promptly.... well done... thinking of my next visit already...

Came here for dinner on a weekday and the place was packed. Probably best to make a reservation before coming! Nice ambience and affordable French food 😋😋😋

It’s been a long time since I dined at Saveur. This time I went to the outlet at Purvis Street. The decor seem to have changed (more luxe) and so has the price point. The USP of reasonably priced French food is no longer the case. However, every dish we had - the duck confit and the angel hair pasta was superbly done. The duck confit was so tender and the meat was falling off (a tad salty, but it’s balanced off with the mash), and the pasta had a different after taste that was unique to all the pastas I have eaten, as they cook with truffle and nori butter. All in all, a very satisfying meal, though at a higher than expected price. I will come back because of the good food and ambience. But not so much for a quick and fast meal.

Scrumptious meal made even better with the impeccable service. Great place for delectable French food without breaking the bank (our total cost was about $70+ per pax). Nice ambience and decor - they were playing French music, felt like we were chilling at a Parisian cafe haha. The duck confit and beef cheek bourguignon were both beautifully done, very tender meat -- practically fall-off-the-bone for the duck, which went well with the crispy skin. The mushrooms that came with the duck were also wonderfully umami, but I didn't like the grapes as much as the orange slices they gave previously. For the beef, the red wine taste was just strong enough without being overpowering. Oysters were very fresh, went down smoothly, no fishy taste at all. The signature angel hair pasta was al dente and flavourful. They were generous with the bread too. Finally the dessert, Pistachio Panna Cotta, was my favourite as it was delightfully creamy, not too sweet, packed a good punch with the alcoholic foamy top (tasted like Baileys but I could be wrong lol) and was just the right texture, not too gooey. The pieces of pistachios on top could be crunchier, but overall it was a great palate cleanser at the end of a nice dinner. The restaurant was rather empty on a Sunday evening at early dinnertime, around 6pm. It got more crowded only after 7pm.
