Reviews Red Eye Smokehouse

My hubby and I ordered their beef brisket, pork belly, mashed potatoes and bread. My hubby was hesitant about beef brisket as most briskets are very dry and not well flavoured elsewhere. But oh boy, Red Eye beef brisket was well flavoured and tasty, the meat retains the moisture so damn well and juicy and tender. The fat and lean meat ratio was just right and neither overpower the other. The pork belly can be better though with better seasoning (?) that can enhance the sweetness of pork (the meat is slightly bland although the smoked part is great). The mashed potatoes was wonderfully seasoned with the herb-spiced sauce and was soooo creamy and butter (yum!). The greatest surprise was the bread! The crust was sooo crispy but the inside was soo spongy and moist and when mixed with their specially whipped butter, it is a perfect combination of savoury and texture!

probably my fifth time to red eye, alas live a bit too far away. As always, great experience, standouts were the ribs, the baked beans, coleslaw, and the key lime pie. also liked their tap beer. great value and nice wait staff. highly recommended.

We were looking for a decent American smoke meat and stumbled this joint by Google. Tried a few places but our personal tastebuds are for less overpowering seasonings Red Eye ticks our checklist :) Tried their brisket, jerk chicken, ribs plus a sample of belly & profane beer Pricier but these are Angus beef mind you ! Joshua was a good host and knowledgeable in his stuff. Kudos !

Great meat! Great people! Great place! The beef brisket is out of this world. Love every bite or rather there is no need to bite as it will just dissolve once it enter your mouth if you get what I mean. 5 stars no doubt.

the food is just YUMS. beef brisket and pork belly just melt in mouth. chicken was tasty and juicy (and hormone-free, I might add!). sides are good too - we tried the cauli and the broc. already plotting my next visit so I can try the short ribs and pork ribs because yesterday our tummies ran out of space.

The carnivores’ dreamland. Big bold flavour, unabashedly American style. The puny eatery fills up fast.

After many months of trying, we finally managed to get a reservation for Saturday evening. The anticipation and expectations were high and we were not disappointed. Definitely one of the better smoked ribs I have had in Singapore. The nachos were fantastic as well.

Love it! The food was fantastic from theirs mains to the sides, love it! Also explored their new joint REX next door. Love the cocktails. Was there with my family and there were kids. Nice hangout for good food and catch up, with or without kids! Service was good, friendly staff!

I wish they can have more joints in the city. The current location is really aloof and I am very sure with their juicy burgers they can do much much better than now. Highly recommended if you are craving for a burger !

Ordered Duroc Pork Ribs, Carolina Pulled Pork, BBQ Poutine, Roasted Greens. The ribs is too dry. The rest are surprisingly good. Staffs are friendly & attentive. The place converted from old shophouse where there is a spiral staircase at the back
