Review Yakiniku Yazawa - Singapore

I'm glad that we are given the private dining room for 6 pax, really enjoyed the cosy ambience. And was welcome by very friendly team. Judy took our orders while waiting for the table to be ready. As this is our first time dining in this restaurant, we leave it to Judy and recommend us what is the best they had. Premiums cuts, marbled beef, and all are real good. Very impressed by the quality of the wagyu beef. Worth to try! The hoji cha panna cotta dessert very nice too! Very good dining experience at Yazawa. Thank you Judy and team!

The number 1 place to go to for Yakiniku (Japanese BBQ). Small and dim ambiance like in Japan. The meat are at their best quality and well seasoned. No other sauce is needed to go with the meat. Just grill and straight into the mouths. Must try the raw beef and ox tail soup.

A life changing experience. After being greeted by a small team of dedicated staff, you are welcomed into a dark, loungey room with jazz playing in the background. Portions are on the smaller side but you are here for quality not quantity. Get the sirloin, thick cut beef tongue. Definitely a place for celebrating a milestone.

Really the best Japanese BBQ spot I’ve ever tried. But to be fair it’s pretty steep on the prices. My friend and I ordered the kimchi as an appetiser to start with. Then for the meats; we got the rump (5 pieces), tongue (6pieces) and knuckle (4 pieces). Both of us agreed that the rump was the best. Service was good but a bit pushy, the auntie kept on pestering us to order more. Total damage was $203 (food+2 drinks). Totally enjoyed ourselves but it would be a place to go if there is something to celebrate.

Highly recommended place to go to get your yakiniku cravings fixed. Cuts are as premium as it gets, waitering staff was very attentive and helped to prepare the meat and explained the various cuts ordered. A little pricey, but well worth every single dollar.

Agreed that i had the best Japanese yakiniku here so far in town. It’s quite pricy but i feel the most worth trying ones are the thin slice selections. The tenderest and juiciest beef ever.

Very impressed by the quality of the wagyu beef. They have a great selection of cuts; Some of them are pretty rare to find in other yakiniku places - like the misuji top blade shoulder cut (my favourite!). Price is definitely on the upper side so this something I would enjoy once in a while only.

Enjoyed the thin slice Japanese beef - Misuji (most marbling), Sankaku (medium marbling), Ramboso (less marbling) - fresh and good quality. Even the Ramboso was highly marbled. The kyabetsu mori (cabbage with miso paste) went well with the beef. The chanja (cod innards) was good - spicy sauce with a bit of bite. The black sesame ice cream was good too.

The best yakiniku i’ve ever had! The meat is just the best.. a little bit pricey though but worth the price!

i made a reservation on the same day (about 5 hours before) on a friday night, and they were surprisingly available. the resto itself has 2 doors (i dont know what the diff is). the service& ambiance was great. i ordered the australian wagyu, ox tongue and kalbi (as expected it was very small less than 100g i assume) and sadly the taste was just okay (perhaps must've ordered the yazawa cut). the gyu toro don was AMAZING tho but the size is too small so i need to order extra 1 gohan (cooked rice).

The restaurant is very small and you really need ti reserve... otherwise, no hope 😂😂😂

Despite that all the menu that we order were so yummy... can’t remember what we order but i’m sure everything was perfect. Service was also very fast & efficient.

We came here for dinner on a sunday night, place is not too busy. We ordered the kabuton, tongue, karubi and the pork collar. We liked the kabuton, tongue and pork collar.

Excellent quality of meat, almost close to Jumbo Yakiniku we had in Tokyo. I would recommend misuji for the best part of meat. Service is just average. We made reservation a week earlier but the receptionist wasnt aware of the booking. So our name was not signed. Be careful when you make bookings you have to double check whether they put your names already because they might forgot.

Meat just melts in your mouth, the quality really shows. I have tasted a lot of good meats in my life, but this restaurant has taken the cake. Really glad I came here, keep up the good work! Will come here again if I have the money XP!

Superb food, cooked at one's table. Expertly delivered as well. The steak tartare was the outstanding dish. We also had various cuts of beef prepared from the rump, as well as ox tongue which was also very good. A few more pork dishes too. Alongside we ordered a curry rice. A real culinary experience. The place was a bit cramped though to sit in
