Sarnies one of recommended place for breakfast/brunch or lunch (because i never go for dinner) the menu between breakfast and lunch is different. Lunch menu start from 11 am. Lunch portion so big, very happy tummy đ, Coffee here also good.

Only tried their breakfast. The food is decent but nothing very memorable or makes you go, "oh wow I need to be back for this!"
Worth it when you use Burpple 1 for 1.
Coffee is good too, and warm service.

They serve a good cup of latte, and we ordered their brunch menu item, Eggs Benedict (add on Smoke Salmon) ($23+$4) and Fry Up ($25). Fry Up was heavy and seemed more like to be a sharing platter. Eggs Benedict was good and I added on Smoke Salmon which was given generously. Overall feel abit pricey for their food but it tasted good. Service wise can be improved.

Really wanted the food to be good, but ended up being pretty average.
Perhaps the below par quality of food was a one off occasion, but the steak was pretty flat tasting and the salt + the sauce overpowered the flavour of the steak. (Also not sure why the minimum doneness they could do was Medium) The pastas were alright with a good texture of Al dente. However, the Salmon Carbonara got a little âjelakâ after a while but it could be due to personal preference. Cheeseburger was decent, and I liked the pickle as a topping!
Mushroom side dish was pretty good with the garlic chips being a nice touch. Drummettes were quite oily and wasnât seasoned well enough (to our liking) - meat seemed pretty overcooked too and was a bit hard.
Service staff was really friendly and attentive.

Sarnies has a rather limited weekday dinner menu (compared to most places), but they serve up unpretentious food. This place is generally busy but service is relatively quick! Water is charged at $5 per bottle.

Came here for weekday lunch. Itâs on the entertainer app - so the 1 for 1 promotion makes it very worthwhile. I ordered the tuna broccoli sandwich and it was a huge portion! The sandwich was slightly on the salty side and the bread was very thick. I would recommend sharing the sandwich as it got slightly too much for me and I couldnât finish it. It is a very no frills place so think of it as a spot to get a quick bite! It can get pretty crowded but the service staff was nice in helping us get a table outside and ensuring rain wouldnât get onto us.

Poor customer service. Ordered a breakfast burger but was served the wrong dish (a sandwich with bacon & eggs). Waitress rudely insisted that I had ordered the latter dish, until I reached out for my receipt, which was when she rudely said that the receipt was not required and that she would change the dish. Surprisingly, when I was served the correct dish, the waitress then said that I should have checked the previous dish served to confirm that it was correct before taking a bite at it. How would you expect a customer to know that the filling was correct? Shouldn't this be the role of the waitress to confirm with the customer that the dish is correct instead of the other way round? I genuinely hope that you will look into this matter and that something can be done about it.
P.s. I visited the cafe on 9 September 2017 at around 11am. Waitress was Indian (unsure of her name).

Amazing food + great coffee + nice crowd + cool location + very attentive and professional staff (they are a happy bunch). Perfect place to have breakfast, brunch or just to get your daily caffeine fix. Right now, this is our favorite breakfast spot. Limited seats in and out so go there early or prepare to wait.

Update: The Sarnies crew has been prompt in updating me on this and the service recovery is commendable - shall visit again and revise my review accordingly.
The star is for the polite crew that served us during my visit - the only good thing worth mentioning. Do not visit for dinner - the place was packed to the point where there was no room between tables, and my friends who ordered (overpriced) mains had diarrhoea the next morning! Won't be back.

A cafe with a relaxed and casual vibe by day and a groovy restaurant by night. If u expect full service, then this is not the place for you. The cafe serves up fusion dishes which do not have the typical IG worthy looks, but be pleasantly surprised that they do pack a punch in terms of flavours. The place is usually packed with office workers during lunch and dinner times, so do make your way down earlier to avoid the crowd.
Prices are abit high for a usual lunch but portions are large.

The place was crowded as usual, and what i found it weird was there was more than enough manpower. But seems like it doesnt take anyone to be automatic enough to come out and clear the tables and allowing birds to start pecking on the leftovers which was abhorrent. Was seated outside for abit before manage to get a table indoor as it was humid. Was disappointed with your honey granola & yoghurt dish as what i was served was merely MILK with granola & berries. How do you even explain this that what was suppose to be yoghurt became milk? Thats very misleading. Was there because my friend love your food but not in my favour at all. I will definitely think twice again should my friend ask me out to have brunch again there cos its just too disappointing. And coming from a fnb management environment myself, theres alot more room to improve on your service & food wise.

will never return. awful service staff with bad attitude, unfamiliar with how to use the card machine and jus told me my card "do not honour". ok food and decent coffee. super squeezy environment, this lady behind me had her hair brushing against my back every time she moved. music was ok, everyone was chatting hence creating a noisy environment. I almost couldn't hear my friend. never have I left a place with unfinished food because I couldn't deal with the environment anymore.

Food is good. Service is atrocious. Visited on April 6, 2018, 8am. Really grumpy cashier taking my order. Sour face, no eye contact and refused to help modify my order when I explained I am vegan. Good food is a treat but service is essential. Fix yourselves Sarnies !

Been a bunch of times for lunch... So glad I caught their promotion for burger and a beer... It was a nice fresh juicy home made chunk of beef goodness.
Service? Consistently great.. Lunch crowd surge or an easy calm early dinner. Pleasant. Prompt. Genuine.
The bonus? I caught a Friday special for a drink with the burger!!! :-)

Absolutely wonderful service tonite (07/07/17),despite e huge dinner crowd, they were very attentive to me n my preggy wife, all smiles all the time. Food was great & value for money. One of e staff, Irene, wowed us with her service recovery when there was a miscommunication with our order n payment. She went out of her way for us willingly. Great job!
