The meat dishes are not bad but the vegetable dishes can be better. If you drive and you’re lucky, you get to park right outside the restaurant. Overall, I think this is a nice place to bring old folks who are looking for less salty Peranakan food but it certainly doesn’t suit patrons like me lookin
Cheap meal set and average food. Order 2 set meal to share. Surprisingly the desert ice kachang comes together with the meal. Only the eggs omelette are spot on. The rest are like less salt, less chilly, less flavor. Dabao the soon kuay it’s really good with chunky fillings.
Surprised why this place wasn't more packed. Food was quite decent and food was served fast. Go here to check out the Ayam Buah Keluak - really good!
The rendang wasn't what I'm used to, so found it average. Device was fast but could be better in other aspects.
Was quite disappointed with the food at this outlet. When i had tried previously at PLQ that was much fresher n tastier. U can order their set meal.
Authentic Peranakan food
at @tingkatpm serve up flavourful and delicious dishes.
Food Review:
Ayam Buak Keluak.
Chicken braised in garam assam and Indonesian black nut pulp. The heady aroma and fragrance of this braised dish is unmistakable, and so tender.
Beef Rendang.
Tender pieces of beef cooke
Went for lunch and got ourselves a Chicken Bua Keluak and Beef Rendang set. Pretty average peranakan food in my opinion. Food wasn't particularly flavorful. Not terrible, but not fantastic either. Would not go out of the way to visit.
My first visit for Mini-Year End Party for 5 pax. 😀
Chef very accommodating to cook portion for 5 with 50% price added as we intend to order a variety😁
My Japanese colleagues initially found the Curry Fish Head a little spicy 🔥. However, the more they try, they found it delicious 😋 The even finished
Ate there twice on different date and set meal to taste their quality, really authentic food and desert! >w<
