The red lanterns, honey mandarin, and new song is aired everywhere signifies lunar new year is around the corner
2022 is the year of 🐅
It was also time for more food (or excuses)!
Diet can wait, after all only once a year right?
Let the feast starts!
This was an invitation from a cousin of mine.
Food quality was excellent and as expected.
Service was attentive and efficient. My cup are never empty and social distancing are observed. Only 5 pax per table.
The abalone and fish dishes were the star of the meal. I really enjoy.
The mango dessert was my least favourite. All other dishes were good.
their roast duck was superb. Would come back again just to have it. Juicy, tender, and perfectly seasoned. Also nice touch that they had a candle underneath to keep the meat warm.
Had the “chicken and mango tart” or something like that. Sounds strange but it was really good. The rest of the dim sum was just ok. Nothing spectacular. But it is reasonably priced, and for such nice ambience in a restaurant, can’t complain.
Service was quite basic. One of the waitresses spilled tea and formed a puddle on the table while pouring, said nothing and did nothing to rectify it.
Look no further for a top class Chinese restaurant in Singapore. This place is one of the extremely rare Chinese restaurants where you would not go wrong with almost every dish you order. Ambience is excellent and service impeccable enough to treat any special guests from near or far.
Having eaten at many classy Chinese restaurants, I highly praise the baked perch that was absolutely melt-in-the-mouth standard while having just the right amount of crispiness to the skin. Beijing duck was well-crisped with enough flavour to the skin. The accompanying sauce was not too sweet as some well-known Chinese restaurants tend to overdo the sauce.
For birthday celebrations, there is an unusual peach bun fortune tree and well-presented birthday noodles. Most impressed with food presentation quality. Definitely a place to return to for birthdays! Private room is best for quieter celebrations. Double thumbs up for food, service, ease of parking and central location!
Server lady was exceptional and courteous. Food was equally nice and delectable. We tried both the dinner set and lunch dim sum @live2nJOY

Came here for dim sum lunch. Food is good. Only downside is that Orchard hotel is in need of a major overhaul. So the whole experience was kinda let down by this. Otherwise, food in Hua Ting still ranks among the top Cantonese restaurants in Singapore.
CNY menu was alright, some hits and misses (duck was too gamey, pork was too salty etc)... stuffed to the brim by the 6th course.
Overall, a good place with nice ambience and fairly reasonable prices.
Had a good dinner set experience with Hua ting. Love the cozy environment and good customer service. Will recommend and be back again..
