Review Super Loco - Singapore

Great ambience to wind down into a weekend. Hearty tacos and quesadillas and loved their happy hour! Good prices of food too! Sorry we didn’t manage to take more photos, we simply gobbled them down the moment it touched the table. 😂

Staff were warm and welcoming. Very busy on a Sunday, however service was adequate. Enjoyed the flavours of the food, appreciate that it didn't taste overly salty and like processed food in most Mexican food places in Singapore. Tables were small and for sharing platters was really short on space. Staff trying to clear plates quickly doesn't quite help when everyone is trying to enjoy all the dishes served. Good selection of drinks. Quite child friendly.

AS A VEGETARIAN: I definitely think thisbplace is worth the money. It has quite a few vegetarian options and the food is quite tasty too. Definitely i think the ambience is adds a lot of value and the service and staff are really good. They also do make sure they keep the staff well informed about recommendations. All in all, definitely worth the time and effort and for sure worth multiple visits.

Had a very scenic dinner here at Super Loco. A Mexican food theme restaurant, located right next to the riverside. The atmosphere is wonderful with delicious Mexican cuisine that are frankly quite rare in the island nation. Their service is top notched. One of their servers Suvendran was very friendly and warm assisted us throughout our dinner. I really appreciates his service Fantastic food. Fantastic service. I can’t recommend this place enough.

Legit and great Mexican food. Comes with a scenic view across the Quay. Staff were all friendly and welcoming, approachable as well. Pet and kid friendly place. My personal favourite is the Baja Fish Tacos. But all other brunch menu were amazing as well. But they were all on the pricier side though

Service was very attentive but the food was underwhelming. The best tacos were the cactus frito and the fish. The lamb and beef tacos were a letdown as the meat was dry and tough. Generous portions though. Lime mojito was not great, given the price. The starter trio was one of the highlights too, though things soon went downhill once we had the beef and lamb tacos. It is a warm place to dine in despite lots of fans installed - please wear something comfortable when dining there and for ladies, do bring pins or hair tie to secure your hair up as the strong fans will likely mess up your hair while dining. Also, do request to sit further away from the kitchen since the warmers there can make the dining experience warmer than usual.

Food was really tasty, good quality n true to Mexican style food. Ambience was not bad. Love that the place is dog friendly. My dog enjoyed being with us as we enjoyed our meal. Great, friendly service by George. My dad wanted fries but they don't have any so George made a special order of sweet potato fries for us n it was fab. Will be back!

June 2022: Ordered a take away lunch from the website link. Tried a beef and chorizo burrito with chips and guacamole. Overall, I liked the burrito. I grew up in San Francisco, California so I am very familiar with the SF Mission Street style burrito 🌯. Super Loco's burrito was a little different but still tasty. The super loco was a bit greasier and easily fell apart. Perhaps they grill the burrito after making it. Ingredients were good but the beef was a little salty. I would eat here again but maybe try the chicken burrito next time.

What a terribly disappointing restaurant. We first walked past and it looked like an interesting restaurant, so we came back another time - to a 1 hour wait at 8 pm. Ok. Forget it. So we came back again today, and oh boy. We asked the waitress how authentic the food is, and she enthusiastically replied, "oh, very authentic!!" and so we asked where the chef is from, to which she replied, "our head chef is from Spain". Wow. So authentic. That's like saying that a mainland Chinese chef in Germany cooks authentic Hainanese chicken rice. Come on now. For someone who spent a few months in Mexico, there is NOTHING authentic about this place. If you want authentic Mexican food, just go to Guzman y Gomez. Let's put aside the authenticity and talk about the food. The food is great. The catch: it's ridiculously expensive. 3 tiny plates of food and a happy hour beer ($11 for 250 ml), for $75 (2 pax). They claim that a $20+ dish is for sharing. Well, I'll tell you that this $24 "sharing" dish is not enough food even for a girl. It's less food than a plate of hawker food. Seriously. We left $75 poorer, and still hungry. Sure, the food is tasty (the only reason this place gets more than 1 star), but the value is terrible. We will never be coming back again.

Went there for my daughter's birthday dinner. Booked online and they were quick to call back to clarify that they can't arrange a small cake that I had enquired while booking. The lady suggested that I can use some Churros instead of a cake, which sounded a fun idea since we were going to order Churros anyway. The table was waiting for us when we got there, seeing an eatery brimming with people is always nice on a weekday evening when one has a table waiting! The staff was young and energetic. The ambience is good and fits the street food theme, don't go looking for fine dining kind of seating. The food was decent, a few things better than the others but then it's always like that. The portion size on most things was on the smaller side I thought for the price, must be the location premium I guess. The Churros with a cake like candle surprise in end was fantastic, it totally made my daughter's day. The staff didn't even charge me for it. Overall a great experience. I will definitely go again as long as I can book ahead.

Outstanding service, the food is clever and delicious without being cliche, and the soundtrack could have been lifted straight from my spotify. The branding, atmosphere, American-style proactive service, everything is great and cool but not pretentious or snobby. One of our best nights out in Singapore. Recommend the lava cake, the pineapple habanero salsa, and the tacos de pescado.

Delicious burgers and burritos!!! The kids menu is great too! Service is prompt even when the place is busy. Definitely worth a return visit

Taste is good, and the margarita was decent. Sasha (forgive me if I've spelled it wrong), our server, was excellent! But the portions were a bit small, menu choices a bit limited, and prices a bit steep!

We ate at Super Loco since it just opened in our neighborhood and we enjoy the food at Lucha Loco. All in all it was a good experience despite them being out of several menu items early in the evening. I guess since they're new they're still working out some kinks. The food we did try was very good. The jug of frozen margarita was also good but it would be nice if you could get a pitcher of margarita on the rocks as well. For some reason the outdoor seating which is only a step away from the indoor seating has a smaller limited menu which is a big bummer since we enjoy sitting outside. Wish them luck in the new location and look forward to going back/getting take out.

It was such a downer on our evening. Staff had an attitude of — I care a ****. It was a Take it or Leave it attitude. Never again Super Loco— u spoilt my evening!!

Amazing for breakfast, good for kids, plenty of space for them to play whilst we eat.
