Like many others before me, the food and service was good. Service staff tried their best.
But no matter how good the food is, it's difficult to justify a close to one hour waiting time.
My friends and I entered the restaurant on a Thursday night around 815 pm, got served our drinks at around 825pm, our vegetable dish at around 840pm, but only got the main bulk of our food (naans and chicken masala) around 915pm. By that time, we were already starving, and some staff were already preparing to clean/clear up for the day. In addition, most people around us were already finishing their food before 9pm which meant there were not a lot of customers to serve.
Would be a lot more helpful if the restaurant could be upfront in telling us about the waiting time before we entered (or when we ordered) to better manage expectations.
As mentioned above, the food was good. But have to minus 3 stars for the absurd waiting time for non-complicated orders. Fair play to the service staff who tried to assure us that the food was coming soon, but overall the experience cannot be described as pleasant.

Incredibly tasty dinner at Zaffron Kitchen, Star Vista. The butter kitchen is the best I have tasted in a while. Lovely service from Dinesh as well.

Great lovely service by Bathma, Latha, Nomei! ❤️
They serve me with great smile, welcoming me to my seat even at near closing hours on weekend. Also they would offer me recommendations of famous choices in the menu before I asked. Makes it easier for me to pick my food and amazing experience! Would come here again soon if I crave for Indian food again!

Zaffron kitchen was famous in our group for tandoori platters. We used to have team dinners earlier in west gate.
In new Star Vista branch, we not only enjoyed the food but the host by staff members (Raj and Bathma)They accompanied all our requests very patiently. We were group of 25. Food was amazing, Signature Lamb Shank was too good. Thank you Zafforn.
Please appreciate your staff and your chef for great work.

Forgot the pictures for the paneer and naans.. tells enough that we were hungry! ;)
Think it's very competent but not as good as we remember of the outlet at East Coast.
Naans' weren't charred enough, biryani was just a tad wet, tandoori chicken was quite dry.. but their paneer is usually on point.
Think it still made a good meal.

The food and service was great. We went to this restaurant for my husband’s birthday dinner and it went well. Ms. BATHMA who serves us was very friendly and attentive. Ambience is good with light music. We recommend this place.

"This, is the mutton kebab to die for", my Indian colleague told me when we went there for team lunch yesterday. Boy, was he not exaggerating, it sure was heavenly. But having great food was just half the story, a restaurant is bad if it has bad service. This is not the case for Zaffron, I loved how the waitresses took the time to interact with us when we had questions about the menu, they were simply not rushing to go on to the next thing. Thumbs up to Zaffron management for cultivating this, you have done it right! Special shout out to Ms. Bathma, Maran for answering our series of questions with a smile throughout, made us felt so welcomed! Keep up the passion for service there! 😄👍🏼👍🏼
