The staff was most polite and respectful of our privacy. The food was a delicate balance between traditional with a twist of fusion and creativity with aromatic flavours. And the price was a surprise - acceptable, in fact reasonable in view of the ambience.
Love their crispy ice-cream durian!
Fried Crispy Ice-cream durian at Majestic Restaurant.
My photography skills did not do justice to these flavourful dishes. Impressive. Though price may be on the high side, the taste is worth every penny. Duck lovers, you may want to try the roast duck instead of Peking duck.
Nice restaurant with really nice dishes. Generally the appetizers we ordered are quite nicely done. The fish we had is really awesome. Don't be deceived by the plain looking Yee mee, which doesn't taste plain at all. It is really nice!
This well known restaurant relocated to MBFC East Tower. The food is still consistent and very good quality. Must try the fried chicken, roast duck, roast pork, mee sua noodles. For dessert much definitely try the fried durian
I enjoyed the mixture of modern and nostalgic vibe here. Menu provides many options to choose. For this first time visit, we just ordered most of the signature dishes. Definitely would love to visit again to try more. Ribeye with soy sauce was very tender and well-seasoned. Seafood ingredients in the Seafood HorFun were very generous and tasty.
But I hope they can improve the table arrangements as some tables especially the 2 pax ones are so close to each other. They re-arranged for us to sit at a round table otherwise would feel too wired to dine very close to the next table sitting 4pax…
We love the soup, clay pot rice and hor fun.
Peking duck is okay, could find better ones! But highly recommended for refined chinese cuisine :)
Been a while. hence my photos not looking great. This is a lovely lunch venue for catch ups. It's lovely to over look the beautiful Marina One Garden. It's bright with a 'bustle' even. I think in the evening it would equally as nice. Chef Yong and team take good care of you with its
"old school" Chinese restaurant service. I don't know her name, but there is a charismatic and very engaging Auntie, whose energy I admire. She just makes everything "brighter" some how. Lohei was good. Australian Slip lobster and Beef Hor fun.. yummy. got the tender and "char" from wok skills in the beef. It is a little off the traditional CBD but worth a short walk or drive. Parking is easy but a bit expensive.
