Review Rabbit Carrot Gun - Singapore

Good ambience, friendly service. The beef was a little tough that i have trouble cutting even after switching to steak knife, fish is a bit mushy. Scotch eggs is decent. Beverage selection is ample and price is fair. Could have given 4 stars if the culinary is better. Overall, a pleasant experience.

Excellent brunch food; fresh and well cooked. Nice music and ambience. Very friendly service from owner Richard and his staff. We had bubble and squeak, eggs Benedict, and avocado smash; would recommend them all! We will definitely be going back.

Fun place to go. Nice ambience and music playing. Attentive service for drinks and a great negroni. Burger was ok, meat a little underdone, but still very tasty. We had a range of sides over the evening. Jalapeno poppers are always fun. However, they do need more vegetarian options. Only really an impossible Burger or a salad.

We ordered beef wellington, scotch egg, chicken wings and fries. It was a terrible experience. They boiled egg and placed it between bread and gave it to us. Wellington had beef between bread and they coloured it red for the presentation. Got upset stomach later. Gave us half cooked frozen fries. Guinness beer tasted like wheat juice. The owner was very rude and shouted at us for giving a review online. Food is not worth a penny and dont get deceived by their presentation of food. The worst food experience I had in Singapore.

Service was pleasant, price relative to portion size is very good, menu has some classic English items on it which is different from most brunch places. Coffee was good, too. We didn't like the ambiance much, perhaps because we sat outside. Cars pass pretty nearby and there are large, brazen birds constantly hovering around the seating area.

Very busy place and reservation is highly recommended. Nice brunch place with plenty of selection. We made a mistake by ordering the happy hour wine. It says “-3” we thought it was only $3 (obviously no market sense 😅😅) It actually meant discount by $3. Hope they make this clearer on the menu to avoid silly customers like us. Good for grouping.

We had breakfast here on Friday morning for 2 pax, there were still several tables available. The dinning space is quite large and pleasant. The price here is a bit higher than the other similar restaurants we had in the other area. The portion of meal is considered large but the time needed to prepare the food is relatively longer, about 25 mins from order to serve but the worse is the food itself was not hot just warm.. which made us feel weird And the meat is a bit salty and oily. Coffee is quite good anyway

Such an amazing experience! The food was amazing and me and my friend were so warmly welcomed by the hostess. I wish I knew about RCG sooner and would love to go back for the excellent service and delicious food!

Can't even do poached eggs properly, waiting for 20mins still no iced mocha - server actually forgot what we ordered and had to ask again. Scrambled eggs dry and tasteless. Will not recommend this place for brunch there are much better cafés around in Singapore. Avoid coming here if you can. And we came here at around 1.30pm in the afternoon when the lunch time crowd has died down.

Great food. Good ambience. Take away order taking a little longer then eating in

When asked what you use for your Piccolo (ie espresso or ristretto) I was told: "Oh, milk." "And...?" "And Piccolo coffee."

This is a late post from Easter 2013 as I only just found out the truth from my family why we didn't have our meal there. We had booked dinner for Easter and when my family got to the restaurant, we were told that only a set menu was served for Easter! When we asked if we could look at the regular menu, we were told that they only served a set menu that we did not know. We were told rudely by whom we found out that he was the owner, he said that "I am sorry that you cannot read or understand English" in a loud tone. Not once but TWICE! When we decided not to kick up a fuss to just leave, we said that we will just cancel our reservation and leave. The owner said "you are not leaving but I am asking you to get out!" What kind of attitude is this?! I am only posting this as the truth only just came out when I had suggested to go back to try since we were not able to over the last Easter.

Below average experience. Long wait for food without an explanation. And the fruit juices at $7.50 are diluted. Carrot lemonade is without even a hint of lemonade. Will not be coming back here again.
