We had our wedding lunch reception at Lewin Terrace and it was the best decision ever! The service was top notch and the food was amazing. The place was surrounded by a lot of greenery which provided a very dreamy feel. Also we were delighted to have exclusive use of the venue. We want to thank Yuriko and all the lewin terrace staff for delivering our dream wedding. Yuriko - thank you for stepping up to coordinate our wedding within such short notice. Thank for you overseeing our wedding details and making sure that everything ran smoothly. Thank you for accommodating our last minute changes. It must have been really stressful for you with 2 weddings, but thank you for maintaining that cheerful deposition and not breaking a sweat! お疲つかれさまでした.

I visited Lewin Terrace over the weekend for Sunday brunch. I was with a private party and so we were accorded a private room. The restaurant is lovely; open & airy in a park-like setting. The food was perfect in portion and elegantly presented. The service was prompt and professional. Truly a classy place.

It was a night to remember for us and our guests. The food was excellent as always. This venue is perfect for a garden themed wedding as it surrounded by greenery, and the inherent charm of the place itself makes decorating an easy task as there isn't much to add. A special shout out to Chong Hwee, who has helped us throughout our preparation for months prior to the event, even as we kept procrastinating and leaving things to last minute. We would recommend any couple who wants a small, intimate wedding to consider Lewin Terrace

Was here yesterday with my husband for my birthday dinner and we were blown away by the impeccable service, sake and dinner. A wondeful medley of beautifully arranged dishes and exquisite ingredients. Kudos to the chef for an excellent meal! The wonderful staff, knowing its my birthday, presented my dessert with extra goodies! We not only take home a very thoughtfully framed picture of us taken by the staff but wonderful memories of Lewin Terrace. The best birthday dinner by far. We will definitely be back!

What an experience! Small portions, taste concentrated, perfect timing. Nothing was wrong at this dinner. Japanese-French-Fusion can sound a bit pretending, nothing could be wronger. Staff easy but caring, food quality superlative and amazing taste. As I said, the small portions are a concentration of taste. For sure a place to back to.

Hiding at an old black and white old colonial house near Fort Canning Park. Climbing probably over 80 steps to get to the restaurant which sitting on TOP a small hill overlooking the city. Beautiful ambience and food for business or dating. However the service can be improved as my wine has to be served by myself for many times.. not so attentive as we have to wait for water or drinks. We choose the 10 course meal and the food is very Creative with Japanese - French fusion food. Blending lots of Japanese ingredients with some local flavour. One special dish is using foie gras to cook Bak Kut Teh ! For 10 course dinner cost $200 not too bad ! Lovely but need to have aircon to turn cooker especially we are having wine and may enjoy better !

We came for the set lunch and Oh! Matcha dessert buffet, which was spectacular. The Japanese sweets seemed very authentic. More savoury than sweet, and the flavours were complex and unique (with ingredients like matcha powder, sakura blossoms, goma). The mains were perfect too. Flavour and doneness were on point. There was only one other table here so service was very quick, and the Japanese chef also came out to chat for a bit. The only downside to the restaurant is the location, which is somewhat inaccessible. It's a black and white colonial building located behind the philatelic museum. The entrance to the compound is really nondescript and not easy to spot. There is a flight of steps up, so it's not wheelchair or pram friendly. But once you make your way up, the ambience is very serene and pleasant. I really enjoyed our meal here and would love to return. Highly recommend this restaurant.

My friend’s wedding was held in this restaurant. Food and service are superb! The place is cozy and had a rustic style, with enough foliage and wooden tones, which was perfect for our friend’s motif.

It’s not an easily located restaurant but it does have valet service. You will be welcomed by a looong flight of stairs before you reach the entrance of the restaurant. Ambience- soft lighting and modern deco. Comfortable and romantic Table is a bit small for four and we hardly have enough space for the wine glasses. Would be good if they have stools for bags Food - we ordered the set meal of 7 courses. Very happy with the food presentation and taste. You can taste the sincerity and thoughts put in. My favorite would be the foie grad confit set as a pie with a super delicious cherry jam in a cherry shape. The sweetness balanced up with the rich palate and simply unforgettable The Hokkaido wagyu smoked within hay and oregano was so aromatic not affecting the tenderness of the beef. The red wine sauce with a hint of sour makes it an almost perfect meaty piece! Lobster was very juicy and fresh with the buttery broth. Yummy ~~~ Service - the servers were helpful and friendly. Not those overly “atas” and pretentious type who sounds so professional and cold. The chefs came out to give a warmth description of the main course and dessert. Enjoy my time there truly.

Very romantic, relaxed ambience. Servers aren't pretentious, but proper. Would have been good if there had been chairs/bins to put our handbags and if there had been space to put our phones on the table. We were a party of 4 and it felt a little bit cramped. But that's just a small thing that can easily be improved. Food: We had the 7 course set meal. The components of each course were very fresh, and had very well balanced tastes. Each dish was executed with remarkable care and detail in terms of presentation as well as flavour. The exceptional dishes to me were the foie gras confit, the lobster and the wagyu beef. 1. Foie gras - incredibly rich confit of foie gras, with a delicious and well textured cherry jam. It balanced the richness of the foie gras such that the foie gras wasn't too much for the palate 2. Lobster - itself was fresh, and well, lobster. But the broth it was served with was deliciously buttery 3. Japanese wagyu - literally smoked to perfection on hay and oregano. It was bursting with smoky aroma and tender beyond belief. It was a perfect piece of beef. The only reason for 4 instead of 5 star is the gigantic flight of stairs that one has to climb from the parking lot up to the restaurant. It would be really great if some sort of lift or escalator could be installed so granny can enjoy a dinner here too.

A up-market Japanese fusion restaurant. Tasty food, the first 'dish' is a bread, that is so simple yet tasty. The fish + the soup (I forgot the name) is totally divine in my own words, the Essence of the fish is captured in the soup. The wagyu was so-so, but still tasty, expected more WOW of it. Overall is still good, good for those coming for anniversary, birthday, or other important event (because it's not cheap) Ambience is pretty good. Not too crowded, still have your own space. Great restaurant!

To summarise in a sentence, " it's definitely one of the most romantic premium French restaurants in Singapore" . It's hidden in the Fort Canning Hill behind the central fire station. We enjoy the tastes n well presentations from the complimentary bread n butter starter till the desserts. V love the cosy ambience n the deco, an ideal food venue to chill with your better half n family. Friendly n attentive services n good selection of wine too.
