The shop has a retro, nostalgic aesthetic. The service by the staff is friendly and polite, which made dining an enjoyable experience. The food is definitely delicious, fresh, and tasty. The portions are also decently sized. Overall, the customer experience is enjoyable and this is definitely a nice chicken rice restaurant.

Service was great. Chicken was tender and tasty. The egg veggie was fantastic. Definitely would go for second serving if it was abit cheaper. Will consider coming back again.

Ordered takeaway. Preparation time was short. Pick up was easy. Ordered steam chicken and roast chicken. I must say the chicken was way over rated. It is very easy to find equal or even better chicken meat at neighborhood coffeeshop. Half a chicken here can buy one whole chicken elsewhere. Accompanying rice and sauces were good though.

Always taste good. First meal in Singapore. Chicken in soy sauce is so juicy and tasty. Sweet and sour pork is okay not as good as expected. Tofu is most impressive. Eating alone or with the kaya sauce is both good. Rice is soft and not too oily. It’s shaped as pyramid. Trust me it’s quite small. One serve is not too much for lady. Guys probably need two servings. Having chicken with the red chilli sauce is just perfect. Yea is very thirst quenching. 2.5 dollars per head. Available in both hot and iced. This branch is quite cozy. Not too busy. Highly recommended for both foreigners and Chinese people. Coming here is easy by bus, cab, and car.

The chicken rice is fantastic and tasty. Fried toufu is soft and nice. However, find the sweet and sour pork has too much flour.

Managed to get a Booth with Reservation. Booth seat just below air cond blower. Was cold throughout the meal. Food was disappointment.Chicken was cold. Rice does not come with chicken soup on the side, would need to order and pay for it. Service from staff was excellent. Attentive and provided good potiion recommendations for 3 person.

Great tasting authentic chicken rice at reasonable prices. Staff were extremely friendly and jovial. Service was fast and efficient. Will definitely bring overseas guests there again. 😀

The chicken is nice, soft and tasty. Other food in Singapore is quite salty but this chicken rice is not. And i love it!

Came here for a work lunch and ordered their signature chicken rice. It doesn’t taste any better than the chicken rice I can get from a neighbourhood chicken rice stall. From the soup to the rice to the chicken, everything was just lacklustre. The chilli does pack a punch and the portion is quite generous though. Service was also noticeably tardy. What a shame for a place that could potentially leave a better impression for our foreign friends.

The Hainanese chicken was excellent. Very soft and tender and cooked just right. Combining it with ginger and sweet soy sauce made it even better. Eating this decadent dish with rice surely makes it even better. Definitely scored a great first meal here in Singapore. Hopefully more to come... the bar was set so high my friends!!

I’ve eaten the chicken rice but the chicken was cold and had a weird taste. It didn’t taste fresh. But seafood hor fun was lovely, just have to replace the fish with a different fish. The fish used has a fishy taste and is nauseating.

I had it once a quarter and this time taste remains good but the portion and size is going smaller. Still one of the best Chicken rice in SG for its price and experience.

I would just like to say thank you for the excellent service we received in your restaurant yesterday. We ate excellent food and had a very warm and friendly welcome. Although the place was very busy we still had a great time. Sure to visit again.

I think the name is bigger than the food and service themselves. The chicken is over cooked and the rice is tasteless. Can’t fell any service, the staffs feel tired.
