Walked by this place and decided to try it. Beautiful setting surrounded by a nice garden. Nice to sit outdoors. We had the prawn and scallop ball as a starter. This dish is highly recommended. We also had the beef rendang which was very tender. The fried cod was average and would give that a miss.
Good food. But I'm not a big fan of the way some of the food is prepared. If you're a fan of having your traditional Chinese cuisine prepared with a new kinda twist then this place is for you.
Beautiful restaurant, colonial-chic feel in the Black-and-White-House, with friendly staff and tasty food! Lunch to celebrate my daughters birthday, was her choice. We got a table on the outside with a nice view of the garden. Luckily it was a cloudy day :-) Food was yumm and the service was perfect!
I was doubt when my lady friend asked me to have lunch with her at Chopsuey. ….Turned out, I was so impressed with ambiance of the restaurant, service, quality and taste of each dish. I finished with young coconut panna cotta (the best) and espresso. Can’t wait to go back again.
Came to chopsuey two times in one week for lunch. What I loved about this place is just the variety for vegans and vegetarians right from the dim sums to the mains and noodles/rice. Nice place in a corner. Went there around 4pm. Only three tables occupied. Lunch order stopped at 4pm. Only dim sum and dessert from 4-6pm. Dinner menu resumes at 6pm. More people came during dinner.
