Located at the entrance of Tangs Orchard. This outlet has many selections of great croissants and sandwiches. Love their origin kouign amann. Croque Monsieur is also one of the best sandwich with yummy hams and cheese fillings. Teh Tarik was not so special but I really love their coffee, tried their hot cappucino when I visited the other outlet at Eng Hoon Street, so good❤👍
Tiong Bahru Bakery deserves to call itself a French Bakery that sells perfectly baked Croissants and Croissant Sandwiches to go with Hot Cuppa.
But Super Expensive.
One of d best bakery I've ever had!
Absolutely loved the matcha almond croissant - it was flakey and not dry. Love how they provide a variety of spread for you to use with the pastries and bread. They stuff are quite pricey though.
best kouign amman i have ever tried, the sweetness is just right and the layer is sooo beautiful, the place itself is also very cute and the server really friendly, too bad i didnt had a chance to tried the other pastry :(
Famous bakery in Singapore, it’s everywhere and serves good bread, pastries, and sandwiches. Coffee here also not bad. Fast and efficient service. Very busy in the morning and lunch time.
If in Orchard area in Singapore and you're looking for a quality breakfast with a "grab and go" pace, then look no further Tiong Bahru Bakery. This store has a great assortment of pastries and breads as well as some hearty breakfasts for those can spare the time to sit down and relax. I tried the croissants, which were flaky and buttery. Each croissant and bread can come with french butter, strawberry jam and marmelade. You'll find them by the order pick-up area. They also have delicious roast beef sandwiches and also salmon sandwiches. I promise you that you won't regret stopping by for a quick breakfast.
It’s the taste of traditional croissant and pain au chocolate with the humbleness in every bites. It’s my first time trying the Tiong Bahru and I will definitely go back for more. They also serve free jam, from apricot, home made kaya, nutella, and butter.
I like their croissant so much paired with a cup of good coffee. The pastry very delicious. I don’t mind going back for a quiet brunch (for their croissant), but definitely not the weekends, because it was too crowded
Bought the bakery for take away. Heard that they famous with their croissants and it true.
Matcha almond croissant was yummy and original also crunchy and delicious.
Should try when in the area
Love this cozy cafe. Polite and friendly staff. Delicious food. Lovely bakery items. Very fresh. The handmade crossiants are the best I’ve ever had. Their coffee is lovely. Great place to relax after shopping or catch a brunch. They have amazing food options mostly non vegetarian. The desserts are very good. Self service place. Breads are very fresh.
As a green tea lovers, my first purpose coming to Tiong Bahru Bakery was to try their Green Tea Almond Croissant and their another variant of pastry that is said delicious by many people. We came to Tiong Bahru Bakery outlet at TANGS Orchard. It has small space, just like mini cafe that is located in a department store. They also provide several small table for dining in.
Unfortunately, that time there was no Green Tea Almond Croissant available. We decided to try their Chinese New Year special seasonal menu, which is Bak Kwa Kouign Amann (SGD 4.95 including GST). We requested to serve it hot. This pastry is totally perfect! It has crispy texture yet easy to bite with a sweet taste along with the bak wa pieces and white sesame. Highly recommended and we really satisfied with Tiong Bahru Bakery ❤️
They are my fav in Singapore, they have a piece of my heart ❤️ I love everything here specially the croissant they make is out of the world and their coffee is delicious. I take everyone who visits Singapore to Tiong Bahru it’s like a ritual . They are just doing amazing I wish I cud work with them one day and feel proud abt it . Love you guys ur the best. I cannot forget to mention their house jams peach and strawberry they are ultimate and no matter what i order to eat I have to eat a spoon of their jam, my visit is not complete without it . Writing abt it and I am drooling here . See you sooon guys. I have visited the bukit Merah outlet once some 3 years back but the tangs outlet is where I go the most and raffles I have not been . But I know they are amazing everywhere 👏👏👏💯
It was crowded when we arrive there. Place quite small and packed, but actually there are plenty enough seat for the guests. . I ordered the infamous kouign amman and yes! That's a great choice. The outer part is well caramelized and the inside is so butterry and soft.. It comes in big size with some crunchy flakes from the outer part.. Ahhh.. I simply in love with it.. Worth the price for me yaa..
Coffee & Kouign Amman👌🏻🌟💖☕️🥐 I always get that & nothing else. Probably an occasional croissant. But the Kouign Amman is what you come here for. Flaky, crispy on the outside, soft and butter on the inside...perfection!
Accidently bump into this piece of heaven. they make great croissant. goes well with my picolo. great recomendation for those who seek light meal and coffee around this area. service is excellent.
I read somewhere about their famous Kouign Amann, and when i tried it.... i fell in love(?) lol. I loooove how flaky the pastries were but its buttery and the sugar were caramelized on the edges... GAHHH i dont know i just simply love it. I also tried the Almond Greentea Croissant and it was great. The Almond Croissant and Almond Chocolate Croisant was also goodddd~
Have visit this place several times, and always order cappucino and croissant. Never dissatisfied with my order here. Really like the coffee taste and the balance combination between coffee and milk.
