This is the 1st time visiting this Cantonese Restaurant. It didn't disappoint. The dim sum was excellent and the deep fried pork Shank was so crispy and tasty, so sinfully 👍. The service from the staff was excellent and friendly as well as helpful. Ambience was grandeur like. The wife and I ate so much and it was surprisingly so reasonably priced. They also serve great beers and 🍷 wines. I would definitely go back there again. We should frequent this place and support the local business and staff who are a selection of elderly and youth but so hard working and well informed and polite. MUST TRY
Thought of giving this place one last hurrah before they shut down their operations. Came on the 13th of Feb, 2 days before they closed down.
Peking duck. Good as always. Crispy and delicious. The meat that was left over even after using it for noodles was a lot still. Appreciate the staff giving us the meat.
Trio egg spinach. Delicious and not overly salty.
Pork ribs. Not too sweet , just the right amount of sour. Well executed.
We are definitely going to miss this place. Do come back soon!
The restaurant will be closing from the 15th Feb 2022 as the building will be rebuilt. It's a pity, and we will miss it as the owners have not found a suitable location to reestablish it.
We will be visiting the restaurant for the coming CNY dinner before it's close.
We have been to the restaurant on many occasions and have enjoyed the food, friendly and good service.
It was a wonderful dining experience. The serving staff were very hospitable, attentive and approachable. They frequently top-up our tea and promptly clear our dishes after each course, despite the restaurant being pretty crowded on a weekday night. Even managed to strike up a chat with the friendly staff.
As expected, the food did not disappoint. Peking duck was crispy and decadent as expected, soup was flavourful and the yam paste is indulgent at the right level of thickness. Price was just right for it's standards. Hopefully they will find a good location to continue the legacy of serving great cantonese cuisine. Highly recommended.
Had a superb dim sum brunch here. The staff were friendly, the service was good, and the food was yummy. I enjoyed the garoupa porridge with the crispy slide youtiao and spring onions. The staff paid attention to clearing our used platters but asking us if we are done with them first. They even changed my plate when it had bones from the savoury chicken feet dish. We were told that on weekends and public holidays, there will be two seatings - 10 to 12.45pm, and 12.45pm to 3pm(I think). Anyway, great place for Dim Sum and will be back. I wanna try the Peking duck too!
A real pity that they will be closing down soon. Great food. Peking duck is top notch.
Went for 北京鸭 for 50% the 3rd time. Crispy skin wonderful sauce. Other food are quite delicious too... the old staff like Mr Alan lai was friendly , passion with his work and with a positive working attitude! However the restaurant restaurant be closing in mid Feb 2022.. my friend and I are quite sad. And hope they will return with better menus.. jia you!
