Heard about this restaurant for a while now, only managed to try this during restaurant week. The food didn't disappoint, the pity is we ended up sitting in the hotel lobby setting instead. Not quite sure why the restaurant is closed for seating even though the kitchen is functioning. Particularly like the soup and the dessert, which has multiple layers of tastes and a surprise within. Beef was tenderly braised and the sauce was on point. Wanted to give a 4.5 stars instead because we are not seated in the restaurant for the full experience, but service was impeccable still.

Very affordable buffet breakfast (if you stay at intercontinental, it’s only $35 nett). A lot of variety of breakfast but it’s more western menu, such as your assorted pastry, English breakfast etc. Really loved how the fruit juice comes in bottles so you can take it back into your room to finish the drink!

Located near the entrance of the bugis junction shopping mall from the intercontinental hotel. Very busy and bustling when we were there for dinner. The music was a little too loud and we had to constantly raise our voices. Might be we were seated under one of the speakers. A starter of bread with butter and olive spread was surprisingly tasty. Mushroom soup was very good, really enjoyed it. The pasta was delicious with very fresh seafood. It's taste was a little light but nothing a bit of pepper can't help. They also have a special menu just for kids. My daughter loved the tomato based pasta. Service was a little slow but it might be because of the peak hour.

Had dinner and breakfast here. Dinner came with a complimentary bread and butter as a starter. Charcuterie platter had an array of cured meats and tiny pickled veggies paired well with it, but the platter could be better if there wasn't too much oil. The grass fed black angus tenderloin steak was cooked to our expectation (medium done); it was juicy, tender on the inside and had a nice charred crust on the outside. The complimentary Breakfast was really generous in their variety and proportion. I would say this is slightly better than your standard hotel breakfast. The fruits, pastries and bread basket was too much and is just normal. Scrambled eggs were yummy, not over cooked or too watery. Both American breakfast and morning booster came with a freshly press healthy juices (radiance). They also offer more food such as fried rice, banana cake and red bean sesame ball. Overall, it was a good experience but slightly overwhelming in quantity. Staffs were friendly but communication could improve.

First time having a family dinner @ Ash and Elm. Nice ambience for a European cuisine. Was served by Philip and he is awesome. He recommended us some dishes and I must say his recommendations were awesome. He recommended Batalle-Spanish Duroc White Pork Rack, it was awesome and delicious. Everyone in the family love it. Thank you Philip for your awesome recommendation and you make our dining experience a wonderful one. 🙏 🙏 🙏.

Located on level 1 of Intercontinental Singapore hotel, Ash & Elm offers not just breakfast, lunch and dinner, but also brunch on weekends. This is also the breakfast venue when one stays in the hotel. Due to COVID, they offered only set breakfast previously. However, since 2 weeks ago, they started offering assisted buffet. I would like to commend Faith in particular for her good service. After a few visits, she remembers the customer's drink preferences and would ensure that the drink is prepared in the way the customer likes. Thanks also to the entire team for making our experience there a wonderful one.
