I would like to give 4.5 stars. The missing 0.5 star is for the renovation/decor not that stunning compared with other Michelin star restaurants. But it’s also one of the few fine dining restaurants I would like to visit again for the food. We ordered 1 Decouverte and 1 Aventure. Some dishes are at exceptional execution. Especially a fish dish (unfortunately the only one dish I forgot to take photo and forgot what kind of fish it was) was outstanding. The fish was extremely tender that just melted in the mouth. The sauce balanced nicely with the fish too. Maybe it was the best fish dish i even had.

Very fine balance of flavours that surprise you as you go deeper into the layers of their delicacies. My favourite is the slow cooked ocean trout and the entrees. The bread and butter is their specialty and served with much care and finesse.

Went here for Saturday lunch during the Nespresso restaurant week. Enjoyed a very reasonably priced fixed menu. As my partner has an allergy some of the dishes were adapted for her. Food taste is really good. Choice of ingredients is creative without going too avant garde. Dishes are well presented. Serving size is adapted to the number of courses. Staff very friendly and knowledgeable, service fast even during a busy lunch. Atmosphere is quite relaxed for a Michelin starred restaurant. Only comment I can make is that the interior is a bit dated.

If you want to embark on a gastronomic food journey, why not try Alama. Recently was there to celebrate a special occasion. The experience was unbelievable and it really brings your taste buds on a food journey.

went for the 7 course meal - our favourites were chutoro, hamaguri toast, oyster and the mains (lamb / beef). The dessert was pretty special as well (w the jin xuan tea). we found the other dishes to be quite similar (cold dish, with sour/citrus taste). service was great - staff was very attentive and friendly.

We had the ‘Aventure’ (8 courses) menu for the night and it was pretty good. The two memorable ones for me are 1) ‘Hamaguri Clams’ from the snacks and 2) ‘Nodoguro’ King Crab | Glutinous Rice | Negi. The presentation was good but the taste for each course could be a bit repetitive and Service was very good though.

Had the 5-course degustation lunch set. 188/pax. Everything was really good, the food, the bread, the service and even the heron paintings were cool. Took a half star out of a 4.5 star rating mainly because I could not appreciate the foie gras (pictured with orange peel and sorbet) at all. Felt like fat ice cream. Really jelak. The rest were really good though, especially the apple tart, definitely a must order! The trout was surprisingly orange but was really quite good.

Perennial favorite. Loved the wine pairing with the dinner. Always familiar faces at Alma providing excellent service. Enjoy the fantastic effort and warmth exuded from the staff. Horsehair crab, Irish duck, and chutoro were fantastic. The warm bread and petit four's are always a lovely companion to the dinner.
